A sale of the car is supposed to be a smooth and honest experience without a customer being on guard. The dealership didn’t tell me about $750 Kia rebate if you finance through Kia. I wasn’t told about it before final negotiated price. So they were supposed to adjust final purchase price accordingly. Instead , they edited numbers to keep the same purchase price thus stealing rebate from me. I came with my own financing institution that was offering 50% less the interest rate. However , they said I would lose 750 rebate. So , at the end I financed with higher interest rate and never got the rebate. I guess they are dishonest and such practice ruins their reputation. Sales manages is well aware of this going on . You stole 750 from me. More
I was mislead, I paid 2981.00 for added dealer equipment that was overpriced and mostly useless. Items such as Nitrogen filled tires and six oil changes and tire rotations, what was listed as Winners Circle that was overpriced and mostly useless. Items such as Nitrogen filled tires and six oil changes and tire rotations, what was listed as Winners Circle Maintenance. This dealer add-on charged me 500.00 for each oil change and rotation service. These charges were not listed on the factory sticker instead an attached addendum sticker added to the right side of the factory invoice.. I did not notice the added cost till I had a chance to really think about the value of my purchase and I'm not alone if you go online you will find it's a common practice dealers use to inflate the selling price. Beware don't fall for this trick like I did, look for this attached sticker, lower right side titled DEALER-ADDED EQUIPMENT & INFORMATION. They hide the additional extra cost and only show the total cost of the vehicle after the bogus add-ons. The Dealer Added Equipment practice should be made totally optional or outlawed altogether.
