Bought 2 new from John O. Wife and i got a couple new vehicles from DePaula today. Johnny O was our salesperson and we couldn’t be happier. He got us more than we wanted on our trades and we rolled out with 100k in new vehicles. Wife loves her new Tahoe and we will definitely use him again when it’s time to get another car. Customer not satisfied I went in to get a fair price but discovered a lot of unfairness at Depaula. Saturday Jan 27th I tried to negotiate a 2016 Chevy Equinox with a price I went in to get a fair price but discovered a lot of unfairness at Depaula. Saturday Jan 27th I tried to negotiate a 2016 Chevy Equinox with a price starting at 18K. Valuation was $20k and after waiting about an hour they wouldn’t budge on price. They said there was no room to budge. It would be a loss to go $1000 more off...”we won’t discount $3000 off this vehicle” said Dan Charlton. I offered $500 more if they did $17500. Dan said no, maybe $100. It was a long process and didn’t get the vehicle. Move forward to 1/31. Check the Depaula website...2016 Blue Chevy Equinox is $17k. Are you serious. They could never discount it $3000???? I’m no scholar but $20-$17k is 3k. They could of had a 17.5k sale on Saturday but chose to say “we can’t lose money on this if we went any lower“. Well you lost a lot more money and a repeat customer. I did get a 2015 equinox from them Saturday. They took $250 off. When I spoke to the GM of sales, Mike Fountain about this situation, he said “If I was the manager handling the sale of the 2015, I wouldn’t have given you $250.” Again, what kind of service are they providing? They did not do anything to offer any resolution to the way this turned out. Be warned, if they don’t move on a price....they can, I saw it happen it a big way. More
