Run as far and fast as you can from Depaula Ford! ! I have been a solid, loyal Ford owner for 30 years and they always have the same problems and specific electronic jobs HAVE to be completed at a ! I have been a solid, loyal Ford owner for 30 years and they always have the same problems and specific electronic jobs HAVE to be completed at a Ford dealer because only THEY have the codes. So who do you choose? If you have options, go somewhere other than DePaula Ford in Albany NY. Why?… My vehicle was brought in to have the power steering rack replaced as per my regular mechanic. It was there for 13 days for a job they said would take 3. I was given a quote of $2200 all in plus an alignment. I asked them to throw that in and they just chuckled! Surprise surprise….cost was 30% more (or $700) than quoted when they called to say it was ready.. I was angry at the 30% increase so contacted the service manager to get a breakdown of the final costs. He returned my call and left a voicemail message with the breakout of $1200 parts and $875 labor. It worked out to around $2380 with an alignment so I went to pick up my truck. When I arrived to pay what the service manager broke out on that voicemail message, they acknowledged they charged me for the core but wouldn’t (couldn’t?) update the invoice (I guess???) and asked me to come back the next day and they would “make it right”. Not sure about them making anything right except correcting their mistake and I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt instead of being ignorant and making a scene, so I said yes and left my truck there another 24 hours. After work Friday I go back to the dealer again to pick up my truck only to find out “to make it right” was DePaula crediting the core charge they failed to take off in the first place and then sent me on my way $2,460 later! DePaula Ford doesn’t give a flying who ha about you, me or the next Tom, Dick or Harry who walks into their establishment. Bottom line is $$$$! That is clearly ALL they care about; NOT customer satisfaction! Why couldn’t I have left with my vehicle Thursday and just removed the core charge then? They did nothing additional to make anything right in my book, except inconveniencing me for yet another day without my transportation because why? Then to top it off, I drove away and now my check engine light is on with o2 sensor codes. Beyond angry is no description of how I feel! How would you feel at this point? Depaula never asked if I needed a rental, didn’t discount the alignment, tried to charge me $400+ for the core despite them knowing that should be deleted from the bill, probably intentionally left the o2 sensor unplugged (my mechanic looking today and I will know about that), then made me wait longer to correct something that could have been corrected on day 12 (or day 3 or 4 when originally promised?) If you respect yourself and your hard earned money, choose a different Ford dealer for your service needs! Although my guess is they are all the same, maybe look into a more reputable place to take your vehicle. Should you choose to go to DePaula Ford, don’t say you weren’t warned about their sketchy business practices! Check your invoice too because you may be the next individual charged for a core they “forget” to remove off your invoice!!! More

Need to get alternator replac no answer. Finally got an answer only because I had to drive to location over 15 times. Got my car back, no diagnostic. Need to get alternator replaced, but refuse to ever go back. Also they left my turbo disconnected when they gave back my car. Getting in touch with someone at the location is like pulling teeth. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone! More
