My experience at GMC Delray went beyond bad service—it was arguably negligent. I brought my truck in for a simple oil change and new tires. I picked it up a week later (after zero communication from my advisor, Gabby) and paid the bill. Immediately upon leaving the lot, I heard a loud thumping noise. By the time I reached my destination, the noise was severe. I checked the vehicle and discovered the front passenger wheel was loose. The technician had failed to tighten the lug nuts, and the tire was literally working its way off the vehicle while I was driving. This was a massive oversight that could have caused a serious accident. When I returned to the dealership, there was no sense of urgency or accountability. While they did send someone to tighten the wheel eventually, I was promised a call from the General Manager to address how a vehicle could be released in such a dangerous condition. It has been over a week, and I have heard nothing. Just silence. This isn't my first issue here, either. In the past, they misdiagnosed a check engine light on my parents' vehicle for years (claiming it was an unfixable "glitch") and once returned a vehicle with the battery cover unscrewed and rolling around the backseat. There is a clear pattern of carelessness here. Mistakes happen, but failing to tighten a wheel and then ignoring the customer is unacceptable. Save yourself the stress and the safety risk—go to a local shop that actually quality checks their work. I recently bought a new truck from Delray GMC and wanted to add a bed cover to the vehicle. We ordered the cover and went for the appointment, we decided to wait while they installed. Two hours later the service manager came out said they ordered the wrong one it would not fit. Accidents happen the two hours was kind of ridiculous but understood. Drop the vehicle off the second time to get the cover installed and when I come back to pick up and pay for the service the price has gone up $600.00, I ask to speak to the manager and he says let me see what I can do he says he can drop the price $200. I am not the type to argue or throw a fit, I pay the bill and leave. I have a written quote from the dealer showing the price of the cover and the install and they basically bait and switched me. When I bought the truck the sales rep was nothing but professional and courteous I did not haggle on price or terms. The service department is not the same to provide a written quote and then change after the fact is wrong. On top of the poor experience the install was not up to the standards you would expect of a GMC service department. They screwed holes in the bed of the truck (that were left unfilled) for no reason, and installed drain tubes in the middle of the bed so you can't slide anything to the back of the bed. More

I normally hate dealerships and sales people in particular. This was one of the most pleasant dealership experiences I ever had. My salesman was pleasant and easy to deal with.
