service I took my optima in for service. I needed an oil change and my engine light was on. I was greeted right away but a friendly staff member. (forgot h I took my optima in for service. I needed an oil change and my engine light was on. I was greeted right away but a friendly staff member. (forgot his name). We went over the services I needed for the visit and he asked me if I was dropping off or staying. I was staying. It took almost 2.5 hours for completion of my services which seemed a bit long to me especially when I told them I was waiting. I would think they would try to get a customer out in a decent amount of time. It was a good thing I had no morning commitments. So keep that in mind if you are going to wait for your car. They were very busy but I was there on time and still waited all morning. My service employee did inform me of what the status of my car was after 2 hours of waiting and he and I making eye contact across the room. An update sooner then 2 hours would have been nice. Overall, it was a fine experience. It's really the only place in Albany to go for my Kia at this point so I don't have much choice. I am leasing my car so I will continue to take my car to Destination. Really no major complaints at this point. More

I went to the dealership to explore vehicles I had seen on the Destination website. They had quite a few possibles listed but the website was a bit vague/spotty with information (most vehicles on the general search page did not have miles listed, numerous prices were listed as 'please call' etc.). I initiated an email trail with the web salesman and decided an in person visit was needed. The salesman (Rhett) was very informative and met any of my requests for information in a pleasant and professional manner. When we began talking dollars we easily reached a price agreeable to both parties without any pressure or astonishment that I would make such a ridiculous offer. The vehicle was delivered when promised and Rhett took a few moments to show/discuss some of the options I hadn't pursued during my test drive. All in all this has been one of the better car shopping experiences I've ever had. I didn't feel beaten up or insulted and don't think I would have felt that way if I hadn't purchased a vehicle. More

There was sales staff that held conversations while I was waiting for my vehicle to be complete which was a great way to pass the time and they were all very friendly. A great Capital buying experience We found the car we wanted. Over the past year or so, my wife and I decided to research what new cars may fit our requirements to replace a 10 year ol We found the car we wanted. Over the past year or so, my wife and I decided to research what new cars may fit our requirements to replace a 10 year old Toy----. Our 10 year old car has given us great service, but that company and it's design staff with it's new models did not appeal to us. After reading reviews, talking to very satisfied customers that have purchased Kia's, and looking at all the new models at the Syracuse auto show, well you guessed it, the Kia Optima, for us came out on top ! The next step of course was finding a dealer with the model, color and options we wanted. Thanks again for the internet, the only dealer that had what we wanted at the time we wanted to purchase was DESTINATION KIA. So off goes a request for a quote for the car they have in stock. With the help of Shaun Collins and Anthony Liguori, they made the deal happen. And we did most of it over the PHONE ! Upon arriving at the dealership ( a bit of construction going on in the showroom ) and an hour or so later, we took delivery of our brand new Kia Optima. We got what I believe was a great lease arrangement, and the car in my opinion is really sharp. So for anyone reading this review, give DESTINATION KIA a try. My wife and I want to thank you, the dealer, for all the legwork up front and behind the scenes for making our lease a smooth transaction. I would also like to thank Kia Motors of America, making the decision to build these cars in the USA. So now all we have to do, as we are in our mid 60's, is learn all the new bells and whistles, as it is like stepping out of a stagecoach into a supercar !!! Well maybe not quite a stagecoach. Never thought I would own one >Such a surprise. My wife and I stopped in after reading a lease ad. As most of us know all about the fine print. There was NONE. We did a quick trade in on our 11 year old Elantra. Mark was a pleasure.,he even sought out a color we wanted. He found a car the just came off the truck and it wasn't even in stock yet. We went up and at 530 in the afternoon and was out with the car by 900 PM. The dealership was super busy and many people were being helped to. Mark advised us that he was going to make a delivery on another sale he did. He kept us informed during the process. We felt well taken care of. The dealership even brought in pizza and burgers since it was dinner time. Such a great thought. Car delivered very clean and ready for my wife. The old saying happy wife happy life. More
