Brought car and key fob in for programming of a new key fob. Reported service time was longer than I had expected, but actual time was less and I was happy about that. However, I am giving only three stars because, although the new key fob works correctly, the technician caused the original fob to not work correctly. My car will not start using the original fob unless I place it against the steering column. Happy with Kevin, but it would when I reported the problem to him, it would have been very good if he had a remedy that would not require more money from me, and exceptional if it would not require another trip and long wait-time at the dealership. Further, someone should have noticed that my car has over 200K miles on it and should ask me how I feel about my car (2012 Jetta SEL), and ask if it would be ok to send info to me for when/if I am ready to consider purchasing a new car. I love my Jetta and am anticipating purchasing a new one, perhaps a GLI; even giving consideration to Audi A3/S3/RS3. More

Rearview Camera I was very disappointed in the fact that I had a 2015 VW Beetle and in the first year the rearview camera failed. It was replaced and then in October I was very disappointed in the fact that I had a 2015 VW Beetle and in the first year the rearview camera failed. It was replaced and then in October 2019 the camera failed again. I was told by the dealer that there were no cameras in the US and would have to be ordered from Germany. They would call me in a couple of weeks to let me know the ETA. I had to call the dealer several times asking about when the camera would be delivered so I could have it installed in my car. I waited almost 7 months and the camera never arrived. In January I was told by the dealer to call Toyota directly. I did this and explained to them what was going on and they said they would check into it and get back to me. All they did was check back with your dealership every 2 weeks and then call me and tell me there was still no ETA. I finally got tired of waiting and got rid of the car and got a different car (not a Volkswagen). This was totally unacceptable. One person from the dealer told me I was not the only customer who had this problem. I loved the Beetle but could not put up with not having a rearview camera for more than half a year!! More
