Mediocre and not welcoming First greeting is less than enthusiastic to borderline rude by service car attendant. Asked to wait for a specific rep who was just chatting with an employee instead of addressing me while waiting. Car attendant then sends me to another rep. Rep is also less than enthusiastic in his greeting. Everything is very dry and there is no sense of customer service. This is far different from what I’ve experienced in other VW service / dealers and seems to go against what the VW brand stand for— which is joy, unexpectedness, smart and quirky. Also, text messages are brief and cold. Lacks the humanness of the VW brand. You have a huge opportunity to make some small changes here that make service more warm and welcoming. When picking up my vehicle from service, I was approached by a salesman to check on what I needed. His greeting was definitely more upbeat, service oriented and warm. Quite the opposite from service team. This is the second time I’ve experienced this at this location. And it’s enough for me to dread coming back because an expensive service with that kind of experience leaves you with a bad taste. The previous service visit, when I picked up my car from repair, something else faulted as a result of service so I had to leave with VW for additional time. This was also not a great experience. I was expected to pay for major repair for something that occurred on VW’s watch. In the end, VW covered it, but makes you less than confident in quality of work and service. More
