We decided to head to Fort Wayne from Toledo, OH. Everyone at the dealership was smiling (on a rainy day no less!) the management and closing staff were helpful throughout the process, absolutely no hassles or "hard-selling" tactics. Don Ayres Honda has it right. The only drawback is that we live almost 2 hours!! I had in the past drove a honda fit and really loved the ride. I searched online and was contacted by Darrin. He was unlike alot of salesmen I had dealt with in the past. He was very respectful of what I wanted and helped me find it in the price range I needed. He went completely out of his way after I bought the car to get a few repairs they promised me by picking my car up from where I worked and leaving his personal car here for me to drive after work to pick my car up. He was exceptional to work with and I would recommend him to all. As a matter of fact my brother will soon be looking for a vehicle and I gave him Darrins card. Great work Darrin! Thank you! I was dealt with in a very timely manner, which was great considering I had to use the new car for work later that day. Honda Certified cars have a well-deserved reputation for being reliable, but I was still impressed by the amount of conditioning required to certify a Honda, as well as the warranty coverage on the factory warranty. I use my vehicle for work, and while I ended up paying a bit more than I originally anticipated when I browsed cars, I got a lot more value, mpg, and peace of mind than I would have gotten by getting a non certified, lower cost vehicle, particularly compared to other brands. They even offer $12.95 oil changes for as long as you own your car. It was more than I expected to get when buying a used car, perhaps more than buying some new cars for that matter. I was elated to discover that even the struts were covered, as well as scratch and ding repair for 5 years. I am discarding my 2005 Dodge Neon SXT which I bought new in early 2006, and bought a 2011 Honda Civic LX-S with 39k on it. So far, I can't think of a single reason to do business with anyone else when I buy my next car. Honda and Don Ayres both seem to want every Honda on the road to keep doing what it's designed to do, and stay looking good while it does so. I expect this car to hold up much better under intense conditions than the Neon could ever hope to. And when I trade it in I will actually get some value from it instead of calling the scrapyard to come get my dead Neon that I had already poured tons of repair money into. More

I had been searching online for weeks for just the right vehicle at just the right price, and found it at Don Ayres Honda! But it wasn't just the price that put Don Ayres at the top of our list... It was Matt Thorpe who made it easy to decide that this is worth the drive! He sent us videos of a friendly hello and welcome, as well as video walk-arounds and the interior of the car as well. He was willing to answer or research any question we had, which is so important when looking for a car from afar. We made the trip and are actually considering doing it again for our next vehicle purchase. Matt and everyone at Don Ayers was warm, welcoming and considerate of our needs, desires and capability in purchasing a pre-owned vehicle.
