I find that when I schedule an appt for maintenance they are on time and take care of what I need in a timely fashion. They will also mention future considerations I may need to take care of the keep up wi are on time and take care of what I need in a timely fashion. Have been a regular service customer at Don Ayres and charging a diagnostic fee of $85 to look into any reported vehicle problem even for regular customers, seemed high to me. I ended up with a high repair estimate and the service advisor was good enough to charge me only half the diagnostic fee since they didn't take too long to identify the problem. The diagnostic was correctly done which showcases their good quality of work. More
Insight EX - On the negative side was when I talked with Rick Squires I stated that I wanted the Clear Sky Blue Metallic in stock. When my wife and I arrived at 7:00p to complete the deal the car was not av Rick Squires I stated that I wanted the Clear Sky Blue Metallic in stock. When my wife and I arrived at 7:00p to complete the deal the car was not available. The other choices from stock was White or Silver. Rick Squires was able to locate a Crimson Pearl Insight EX. The online views and all car information shows it to be bright red but to our disappointment it is closer to Burgundy. It even looks dark on a sunny day. My wife and I are both disappointed but still enjoy the Insight. The sales person Shawn Baney drove the Crimson Insight inside to see it in bright light. (It was a cloudy day when we picked up the car). We have been Honda owners since 1982 and we love our three Hondas and plan on being Honda owners for life. Gene & Rosie Hanefeld More
We purchased my 2010 Insight from Don Ayres. Their service was great and friendly, and we were in and out within 30 minutes. The one issue that dings the Customer Service score was that I put a servic service was great and friendly, and we were in and out within 30 minutes. I was recently in the market for a Honda Civic and I had located a car that I was interested in at another local dealership. I stopped by Don Ayres Honda to talk with Joe Parra whom I spoken with in the pa located a car that I was interested in at another local dealership. I stopped by Don Ayres Honda to talk with Joe Parra whom I spoken with in the past and trusted his opinion. I wanted to see if they felt that I was getting a good deal and if the car would still be certified or not since it was sold as a certified car to another customer about a year ago. Joe took a look at the deal that I had with me from the other dealer and asked if he could show it to the sales manager and I said that would be fine. They said that it was in fact a good deal, but wanted to know if they could beat the deal if I would be interested in buying a Civic from them instead. I was very interested, because I would much rather by a Honda from a Honda dealer and also liked the fact that it would be certified and come with a warranty from Honda! They worked hard to get my business on this one and I ended up buying their car instead! The customer service provided from them both before and after the sale was awesome! My wife and I were impressed and will be back in the future! I did end up having to replace the tires on the car because they were extremely noisy...I was not happy about that part, but after putting 4 new Michelin tires on the car...the ride is much better and quieter!!! Overall I am still happy and glad I decided to by my Civic from Joe instead. On a side note...we also just purchased another car from another local dealer and we were not nearly as happy with the service we were provided by them! Thank you Joe and Bill!!!
