I have purchased four vehicles from Don Jacobs Toyota since 1981 and have generally been happy with both sales and service. I recently purchased a 2019 Highlander, which had a safety recall, and I fo since 1981 and have generally been happy with both sales and service. I recently purchased a 2019 Highlander, which had a safety recall, and I found out about it when I took the vehicle in for the 10,000 mile service. They said they would order the part, and call me when it came in. A month went by and I hadn’t heard anything, so I called the dealer...the part is back ordered and “don’t worry, we will call you when it is available.” I recently took the car back for 15,000 mile service and the technician said “Did you know that there is a recall on this vehicle?” Hmmmm, really? I told him I have been waiting for a call, and that the part had previously been ordered months ago. He said it IS available now, and should take a day for us to get it and he would for sure call me. TEN days later, I called the service department to ask for the status...and they said the part was scheduled to arrive in four days. I finally got it installed last week, but there is absolutely no reason it should have taken that long. Frustrating service from a dealer that I have been using for years. More
I called this dealer trying to order a part and the girl who answered the phone there was very unprofessional and rude and then when we arrive there to go and pick up a part in person the girl in the parts who answered the phone there was very unprofessional and rude and then when we arrive there to go and pick up a part in person the girl in the parts department was rather rude and it took forever for us to get help we actually had to call for a manager before we could even get our part we were waiting for and the manager that came over there I'm not even sure if he was a manager I think it's just whoever the girl at the parts department decided to get and said it was a manager unfortunately because my husband wants dealer parts and they had it in stock we went there but from now on I won't go back to this dealer prefer to wait a day to order it and get it somewhere else More
Brought my car to evaluate the cause of poor starting. Ended up paying for a new battery, which was probably necessary. A little disappointed with the cost. Am elderly, hope this is my last car. More
Let’s start out with saying the guy who helped me was awesome. The manger on the other hand was a worthless piece of crap. Someone needs to get this guy fired completely disrespectful to me . Wanted take car out for test drive . Cause that’s obviously what you do before buying a car. I will be going to a new dealer . By the way was planning on paying cash for a car ha they made a huge mistake had the cash on me . So next time if this ever happens you . Maybe the manager will think twice on what he say to people . After selecting one and comparing it to several others at other dealers, we contacted David Leveritt in Sal Certified Corollas from which to choose. After selecting one and comparing it to several others at other dealers, we contacted David Leveritt in Sales and he was friendly, helpful and professional. We settled on a price over the phone that was competititive and drove up from Chicago for delivery, which was a very efficient process, on New Year’s Eve. We were on our way and are very pleased with our Corolla. Thank you David and team! More

Bad dealer ripped my step dad off saw him coming went in for check engine light came out $4200 dollars poorer. Visited Don Jacobs to get an appraisal on my vehicle. Staff was overall friendly. Gentleman that looked over my vehicle was not aggressive or unprofessional. He did not make any remarks about my vehicle Staff was overall friendly. Gentleman that looked over my vehicle was not aggressive or unprofessional. He did not make any remarks about my vehicle or make me uncomfortable in any way. He gave me a written offer and told me it was valid for 1 week. The appraisal process was truly hassle-less and did not take much of my time. I would do business with this dealership based on my experience with the 2 employees I interacted with! More
Awful Customer Service We will never do business with this dealer again. We started out with an online conversation, in which they provided us price...reasonable. Upon arrival we asked to speak with the person we were dealing with online. We were advised that person is in a different department. We asked what the best price for the vehicle was, the sales person would not answer that question after repeated attempts. When I asked to speak with the manager, she said he wouldn't get involved until later......I know I should have walked out but they had the car we were looking for. Long story should we ended up buying the car. They did not provide any type of service backup or anything. It took almost four hours to buy the vehicle the first hour was trying to find out the price. More
