In fact, since purchasing a 2011 CTS4 from ELCO with Jim McCormick and Sveta Gwin's assistance I have talked with friends/neighbors, comparing my wife and and my experience with ELCO to previous experiences with the local Cadillac dealership. Many people seemed to already know or suspect what we just learned: The service department at J. S. Cadillac is top notch but don't buy a vehicle from them, go across the river to ELCO. I was looking for an SUV. I had pulled into the Elco used car lot and when I got out of my car and started looking at vehicle I was promptly approached by Chri Weaver. I'm writing this review on Elco Chevrolet/Cadillac for several key reasons. First, after spending 30 years myself in the consumer goods industry and dealing with front-line consumers, I believe in th for several key reasons. First, after spending 30 years myself in the consumer goods industry and dealing with front-line consumers, I believe in this process of qualitative feedback. Second, when you get a good deal you really want to tell someone about it and while the term deal is subjective, Elco took extremely good care of me on this used car purchase...I feel I got a great deal! In simple terms, I needed a specific vehicle and while not in inventory Jeff Bequette (Sales) searched for one, had it delivered to the dealership and after a short test ride I new this was the vehicle. Jeff also went to bat on my trade-in and solidified the deal for me. He walked me over to the finance department and Bryan Davis asked me a few questions completing the paperwork and I was out and home for dinner in roughly an hour or so. The price of the vehicle was right on, I'd done my homework looking up the value of this vehicle and knowing you are getting the right price is very reassuring and instantly builds credibility. I'm glad to share my experience at Elco, there is so much transparency today in purchasing a new or used vehicle that what you really need to feel is trust when you walk into a dealership. Trust comes from trustworthy people, and that's the difference I felt at Elco. More

My fiancé and I were searching for our first car together. While browsing the lot on my own while my fiancé was out of town for work I found a 2008 Tahoe for a great price and in excellent conditio together. I was eager to show it to my soon-to-be spouse the car, but we wouldn’t be able to come to the following week. Jim let me take the car home so that we would have enough time to try it out and think about it together. We were very comfortable through this whole experience. Jim also helped us through the in and outs of buying and then trading in our current vehicle which was leased. They gave us a good price on the trade which was very important to us. Always an excellent expierience but on the last visit I had with my car of 207,000 miles on it we found it would cost quite a bit to fix some major repairs so we thought about taking the step to purchase another vehicle. I was nervous about going into the 'car buying' scenario with past expieriences and long ordeals that I was not looking forward to it but Wow was I wrong! All I needed was a great dealership with a dynamite sales person namely Jim McCormack. Jim answered all of my MANY questions and concerns with ease and immediately he made me feel at ease and like this could actually be a great experience and he for sure did not disappoint me in any way. The entire process from talking about the car and then financing just could not have gone smoother or faster.
