I had been looking for a luxury used car for 5 years and had decided to shelf the idea because of the rude sales people that had spoiled the experience for me. Then I decided to check out the Genesis at Earnhardt in July 2013, where I met with James Orosco. James was so professional, straight forward and respectful on my 1st visit, I had renewed faith that I would find the right vehicle. Unfortunately, the model with accessories that I wanted, was just not being traded in at that time. Sadly it went on for almost 6 months, but James stuck with me staying in touch regularly, assuring me one would show up before I sold my house and moved overseas in January. He understood how important the premium sound pkg was to me and never tried to push me to purchase something he knew I wouldn't be happy with ( altho I'm sure at times he wished he could have!). January 2014 arrived, and I thought we would end up doing business "long distance", as my house was sold and I was about to fly out of Phoenix back home to Hawaii. Two days after the sale of my property, a Genesis that was close to fitting my criteria finally surfaced, and in the midst of the chaos involved in an overseas move, we finally got the deal done. However, there was one last issue, as my trucker was busy with the Barrett Jackson Auction and couldn't pick up the car to get it to the shipper until after I was scheduled to fly out of Phoenix. James came to the rescue one last time, as he somehow arranged to get the excess fuel out of the car for shipping , and he and Mark Drake coordinated getting it loaded on the truck and on its way. It is now on the high seas scheduled to arrive in Honolulu later this week. Mahalo's to Mark Tharp too for walking me through the extended warranty process and finally parting with that "one last discount coupon" out of his desk drawer to help seal the deal. Even in my state of exhaustion this transaction, thanks to James, was a fun way to end my 6 year residency in Scottsdale. I must say though, if I had a prosperous company that needed strong, professional, trustworthy leadership I'd be trying to steal James from you! I was that impressed, and I've been in sales of some sort for over 35 years. You have a valuable asset in James Orosco, and I will do my utmost to send more business his way. MJC More
I never really considered Hyundai as the manufacturer of my next car, but after reading a few reviews and articles about the Genesis Coupe, I was intrigued. I have always been a Ford-,BMW-, Nissan-owner unt my next car, but after reading a few reviews and articles about the Genesis Coupe, I was intrigued. I have always been a Ford-,BMW-, Nissan-owner until now, and all of them I purchased used from the owner. I swore up and down I would never buy a car from a dealer. Thus, it's no surprise I was still a little skeptical when I found a good looking, pre-owned coupe online and listed by Earnhardt Hyundai. I happened to be in the area, so I stopped by Hyundai of North Scottsdale one sunny, winter day in 2014. I have to honestly say that from thereon, everything was a great experience (see my 1-5 ratings), and it all started once I shook Mr. Tony Wahl's hand just before the test drive of a 2011 Genesis Coupe Track with 19,000 miles. Now, I believe a dealership is just another dealership, if not for the people tasked to represent them at the front door. Mr. Wahl not only represents Hyundai well (I leaned much just listening to him in the car that I now own, and at his desk), but he also represents the human spirit admirably. The age-old stereotype of the untrustworthy, sketchy, and even boring car salesman end abruptly at the tip of Mr. Walhs shoes. His knowledge, charisma, humor, and innate ability to earn your respect rule behind the button-up shirt, mustache, sincere grin. I have no regrets; I got a good deal; a great car, and perhaps better yet, a 'guy' in the car business that I can easily recommend to my friends, family, and even strangers. If you are looking for a new, or even a new-to-you car, don't miss introducing yourself to Mr. Wahl. What do you have to loose, but a rememberable car-buying experience, and a few great stories from an upstanding man. More

Sean stepped in for Bill Johnson when I went to dealership to turn in my leased Genesis for a new lease on an Equus. With only a few days to complete the selection of the vehicle and close the financing on it, Sean went above and beyond what I have experienced with past car transactions to personally search other dealerships and in-transit vehicles to locate the exact perfect car. Also, due to high traffic waiting for Finance Review, Sean put on the Finance hat and took me through the credit qualifications process and closing on the deal. Finally, Sean coordinated the delivery on New Years Eve and personally went through all the features and set-ups on our new Equus.
