Friendly and gave us a good price for the car. It was our second purchase from Ed Martin and from Neil Graham. The first was back in 2013. Good experience then as well. It was our second purchase from Ed Martin and from Neil Graham. The first was back in 2013. Good experience then as well. More
Absolutely poor experience with ed Martin Toyota. First our sales person was not responding whatsoever maybe once every 2-3 weeks. Me and my fiancé ordered a brand new rav 4 fully loaded so we expect maybe some sort of upgrade in customer service… boy we were wrong. When we came in and talked with our sales person he was taking other phone calls. Wandering off to help other sales associates with things. It didn’t feel like it was a personal interaction at all. After 3 months of waiting for our ordered car I had all the money on a check and I was already financed through my local bank. I’ve already denied multiple times to use their financing. They continued to pull my credit after saying multiple times in person that I do not want to use their financing. We get some papers signed and then the financing person came to our table and proceeded to ask if I wanted to bundle some warranties. I declined because I thought that Toyota has warranties on their new vehicles (which they do). The financing person then asked what would I like to use as my downpayment. I told him I would like to use my debit card. He then stated that their is a 3% fee on a card but if I bundled he would take it off. Waiting 3 months for the car I was just wanting to get out of there. We go back to start bundling because the financing person made it kind of seem like the New vehicles didn’t have any warranty. He showed 3 stages of warranties and the basic one was the lowest package. We bundled with the lowest package because we were under the impression that their was no warranties so we wanted to have some coverage and we got the 3% fee taken off. Next day I was doing some research and I found out that the new vehicles have a warranty. I then proceeded to call and state that there was some confusion on the warranties and I wanted to back out of it. Not even 24 hours of owning the car they say it’s already been financed and we can’t get our money back to get our monthly payment back to what we originally had it. They did mention that they could give the money back on the principal of the car. But we wanted a lower payment. The financial guy that I spoke to the day prior yelled at me over the phone saying that I was wrong, and how I could of possibly misunderstood the warranties. I ended the phone call. When the car got delivered their is a scratch in the passenger side window. My sales guy ordered a new window with no charge which I really appreciate. But it’s been a month now and I’ve texted him multiple times. Even reaching out to the parts department and it’s been sitting for close to 2 weeks now with no response from my sales guy. Also I had text saying “please don’t put the ed Martin sticker on my car” sure enough when we went to pick it up it’s on the back of the car. Also they mentioned they would pay for the tint on my car after they got the window repaired. Again its still not tinted. This review is just an honest review. These are the main things that stick out to me. I will not be returning for my next new Toyota. More
