Edward W. Napleton, opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise, and when that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. ("Ed") Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Today the Napleton Family operates more than 50 dealerships in four states. What started as a small family-owned business has blossomed into one of the most forward-thinking dealership groups in the country.
Ed's business has grown to include 31 franchises - housed in 15 different locations - in three states. He owns domestic, import and high line franchises, and employs more than 1000 people throughout Illinois, Florida and Missouri. Four of Ed's five children have proudly joined him in pursuing the family business and have a hand in the company's day-to-day operations.

My wife was emailed all in price qoute for a 2022 Pilot special by DeeDee. It had even had a special pricing code. The price was 43280 ,303 state doc, 300 for plates plus applicable tax. Me made an appointment to meet with the manager Dave. When we got we were pawned off to a sales person who didn't know he had that vehicle on the lot. We took the car for a test drive , all went well. He was very nice , I can't remember his name, maybe Sam. When we sat down to settle the price it was a slap in the face on how b.s they added to it. I think tontake a pic at the time but it included $1395 for teh Naplton experience,$200 for whell locks and $6500 price adjust and a few other items i can't remember than were never mentioned in the price they emailed. Talk about a little deceptive pricing. Me and the wife got up and walked out. Then they wanted to "talk" about it. The salesman and Dave the manager even followed us out the door to try to negotiate. I let them know how i felt and off we went.. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, you will get screwed. More

The worst!!! Replied to car listing and told it was sold. Two days later sales manager called "not sold" but was about to be brought in. Two weeks later of USELESS communication we gave up!!!!!! This dealership will pull out all of the shady tricks. Did classic bait and switch on me. Also, adding 5K for market adjustment and mandatory accessory fees. They'll say the car is there, it isn't. They'll try to get you to test drive for a price reduction. They'll tell you how everyone these days is paying 10K over MSRP. Nobody wears a mask despite the mandate. Don't even bother trying to get an actual price through the internet service. I came in with my agreed internet price, has a pricing code and good for 3 days and they wouldn't honor it. Complete waste of time. More
