Elk Grove Subaru

One of my worst customer service provided. We went to Elk Grove Subaru last Saturday 3/14/15 and was greeted by Michelle. She told us it was her first day at the dealership. But then she turned us over to Curtis who spat out some stats about the dealership and about himself. I told him what we were looking for in a 2015 Subaru Outback and gave him quotes I have received from other dealerships. He then proceeded to inform me that the prices given will not hold if someone came to the dealership and bought the vehicle outright. So I have told him that I recently bought a new vehicle from Carlsen Subaru (one of the places who had given me a quote for the new outback) and how well they took care of me. He just shrugged everything of. I told Curtis we were not set on the Outback and that we were going over to The Honda Dealership across the street to check out the CRV. Curtis responds with how the transmission placement on Subaru's are superior to how Honda's are set up. How the number one selling vehicle are the F150's and how Subaru's are set up the same way. So I told him that's fine and all and that we would still like to check out the CRV. I asked for his business card and a brochure on the Outback so we can look things over later. Curtis Jare's response: "Do you know how many vehicles I've sold from brochures over 10 years? Zero." At that point, we just backed into my BRZ and left. The guy was super pushy, rude, and left a bad taste in my mouth. I have left a review on Elk Grove Subaru's Facebook Page and on a group forum that I belonged to. Supposedly, a few other people have not had good experience with Elk Grove Subaru. Last time this type of stuff happened to me was with Future Ford's Naveed G. I left a review about my experience on their FB page. A few minutes later, they got a hold of me, got an apology, offered $3500 off of a Focus ST and 0.0% APR. While that wasn't enough to get me to return to the dealership, it was an effort to show they want my business. with Elk Grove Subaru, I got a response about what they might be able to do to assist us. It was too little too late. We ended up purchasing from Elk Grove Honda. The sales person who we dealt with told us that she has only been in sales for a year and yet we were treated properly. Laura was a good listener. After going through the figures, I asked for $1,500 off. She tells us that she will ask the manager about our offer. She comes back with a counter offer. $1,000 off plus a $250 security package we originally passed up on. We wrote the check, paid off the vehicle and left happy. More

Simply awesome Pam is hands down the best car salesperson that I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I called her on Sunday and between several back and for Pam is hands down the best car salesperson that I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I called her on Sunday and between several back and forth phone calls, her and I were able to come to a perfect agreement for a purchase of a 2015 Subaru Forester. I met her the following day (Monday) around 7pm and she had me out the door with my brand new car in less than two hours. Pam went out of her way to show me every detail of my new Subaru including helping me to set up my blue tooth with my phone. I also have to give excellent kudos to Mike in finance who is the best guy you could ever hope to sit across a desk from and sign papers with ... completely professional, funny, down to earth and, simply put, a real caring and genuine individual. Worked hard for me I wanted to trade in a car that I recently leased. I had myself mentally prepared for the typical car dealer experience. I had already test driven the 2015 Outback. I loved it . But Alan really knew the car and explained the features so well. I felt like he was more of friend who had something great to share with me instead of dealer trying to manipulate me. Dave Deleon worked really hard for to give me a great deal. I was able make the trade with no hassle. I was able to buy 2015 outback, which the coolest car ever. I got my dream car finally!!! Financing was also super easy. Great experience. More
