The Hunt for the Perfect Jeep To whom it may concern, As I am writing this it has been almost 4 months since I drove off the lot with my Jeep Renegade :) Today my Jeep has 6018 To whom it may concern, As I am writing this it has been almost 4 months since I drove off the lot with my Jeep Renegade :) Today my Jeep has 6018 miles on it! I have had zero problems! For me, that is a big deal! Four months ago I walked into Elmwood Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I was driving a 1997 Camry with 170,000+ miles. My mechanic at the time had told me that my beautiful Camry would start failing very soon because we found corrosion on my sparkplugs and they proved that anti-freeze (radiator fluid) was leaking into my engine block. Everyday I leaked coolant fluid in my driveway and everyday I drove in fear of having my car overheat. After a while I couldn't stand being scared of having my car die on me so I made choice and started to look for buying a brand new car. First things first, I have never bought a new car. I do not have any immediate family or friends that have bought a new car. So that means that I did not have a real clue as to what I was doing. I talked to friends, I searched the web, I called different dealerships in the area, I shopped for the best auto loan, I even priced out the Jeep I wanted till I knew every feature and cost. I tried to really do my homework. I didn't want to be that person who got stuck with bad deal. So my girlfriend and I pull into the lot of Elmwood Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Its nighttime and the lights are bright but somewhat intimidating. As I open the front doors I am greeted almost immediately by a salesman. He puts out his hand to shake mine, asks me how he can help and I tell him about my problem. We go into his office and he writes down everything I am saying and starts to hunt for the Jeep that I want AND in the PRICE RANGE I wanted :) If you knew me you would know I am skeptical about everyone and I think someone is always lying about something. The difference with my salesman is that he LISTENED to what I wanted . He got related and shared his own personal experiences about the somewhat nauseating experience of buying something new and beautiful. That made me feel comfortable and I felt like I could trust this guy. Soon afterwards, we test drove a Jeep Renegade. That was a great experience for me. Nathan (my salesman) would not talk money or specifics until he felt like I was driving the car I wanted to drive. I appreciated that. - Few days later, I came back to talk financing and specs. This is when I met Noel Tavarez. I wanted a lifetime warranty, sunroof/moonroof, the biggest engine.. etc.. , Noel made sure that I was heard and at the same time made sure that he gave me a deal that I could actually afford. There was no bullsh*t or sugar-coating the costs. I truly respected his honesty and integrity. Needless to say, I bought the car and I got every xxxx thing I wanted! AND I can afford the payments! All in all, I am completely satisfied with how I was treated and continue to get treated at this establishment. Thank you all for treating me with respect and working with me to get the car I actually wanted. Thanks Nathan and Noel, -Baffour, Beatrice and Lauren! We love the car! More
