Purchased a certified EV9 here in October 2026. I bought from Emich only because there was no comparable car locally and I wanted to avoid out-of-state shipping. The sales experience was poor. Halfway through the purchase paperwork, my sales rep left me sitting at his desk for 30 minutes without telling me where he was going. When I went looking for someone to help, I found out he had left for a training session instead of completing the sale. It was also odd watching the sales rep ask ChatGPT about warranty details and other basic questions about the car when I asked. He didn't seem very knowledgeable about their inventory. After signing, I asked the sales manager where the cargo mat was (all weather mats were in the deal, and I understood that to cover the car, not leaving the trunk separately for me to buy). He scoffed and acted like I was dumb for even asking because he assumed everyone outside the car industry knows mats are not the same as cargo liners. A quick “no can’t do that not part of the deal” and went back to what he was doing. It may have been my misunderstanding, but being brushed off like that didn’t feel great. Lastly, I had ceramic UV protection film installed the day after taking possession. I noticed a little glint when driving away but thought it was just debris or something to wipe off later. The installer noticed the same area and let me know it was a chipped area of the windshield that had been patched/repaired. This was not disclosed by the dealer. Either their inspection was lacking, or they repaired it and covered up the issue. Either way, seems… not great. I'm reaching out to them about this specifically and will update this review with what happens and how they handle it. As of now, I would shop other dealers first if you have the option. I've heard great things from friends who bought from Arapahoe Kia. More
