Dear Jodiwithtessk9, When you purchased your vehicle back in 2015, Empire Ford did not own the dealership, so you purchased your vehicle from Ashley Ford. We certainly understand your frustration with regards to your transmission issue. Unfortunately, Ford only covers a set dollar amount for a rental vehicle and we have no control over that. If you were to open a case with Ford Motor Co. requesting additional rental car coverage, our Service Director, Dave, would be happy to advocate on your behalf.

Hello, In the end Rick Torres was/is a huge part of Ashlee Ford and Empire Ford. Name changed that’s all. My car has had three separate transmission issues one of them being very shortly after I drove it off the car lot. This last time you were unable to retrieve the chip to make the transmission work. I find it a shame that I had to borrow a vehicle from a family member inconveniencing them. While the entire time I was talking to David Pacheco he was assuring me that he was trying DAILY to get me a rental. When I called his bluff and offered to start looking for my own he then told me it’s Ford‘s policy that I drive a Ford rental. It wasn’t until I told him I would go public with the way I was being treated and the back-and-forth games he was playing that he decided to get me a rental car. I have the paperwork clearly stating that Empire Ford is responsible for the bill and yet the rental company took the entire payment out of MY bank account. I even have the rental car company telling me that Ford has not paid any of their bills and everybody who had a rental through them is now getting money deducted from personal accounts. Do the right thing, tell the truth and refund the money. Paperwork does not lie and you are clearly responsible. Between court cost, aggravation time I am out well over $3000. I think the worse part is the lies your staff tells! I cannot tell you how many times I was told lame excuses so Empire could avoid doing what they promised. This whole experience has been a nightmare. There are companies who value customers. You are not one of them.
