Upsold for nothing I drove in 11/13/2014 7:45a to my scheduled appointment to fix a low tire pressure sensor which was steady on. Most know either resetting the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) then replacing the sensors whose batteries die each 5-10 years. I asked the representative Kevin Guo both how long & what estimated costs there were but he dodged any answers. Later at 1p, he called with a heavy concerned tone of voice saying I'd need $1200 in repairs of which only $200 were to address the sensor. He claimed brake pads were entirely gone. I authorized $800 of repairs in 3 areas. I returned at 6p to pickup the car & asked for the allegedly worn down pads but Kevin claimed they were in the trash. I drove home & 2 miles later, the low tire pressure light came back on. Kevin eagerly upsold but didn't fix my original issue. I called his boss Rob months later to report Kevin. Rob offered to look again at my issue for free but their poor service in increasing profits plus how payments are for upsold repairs not exams made me refuse the offer. I went to another Nissan dealership months later to confirm Bay Ridge Nissan mis-handled my issue & did poor & unnecessary work by replacing pads while neither noting nor replacing rusted rotors which then pitted the pads thus forcing both to be replaced soon thereafter for $300. Maddening. More

Salesman Lack of Info / Terrible Accting Department The salesman I dealt with had very general statements regarding the inspections and tests taken on the used vehicle I was looking into buying. I felt The salesman I dealt with had very general statements regarding the inspections and tests taken on the used vehicle I was looking into buying. I felt as though buying a used car warranted even more questions, but I was still met with answers like "don't worry, we do a good inspection," or "they inspect everything" or "I'm not so sure, I'll have to check on that, but don't worry." I have very specific questions about tires, breaks, and suspension. Furthermore, to show my interest in a car, I even offered to place a deposit down. The day I offered my deposit, the money was within drawn from my account. Now 9 days after requesting my refund be returned, I was told by accounting that it will 10-14 days and "we're doing our best to get your money back as quickly as possible." I responded with "the money was taken the same day, nor did anyone tell me it would take 3 weeks to have the deposit refunded" and accounting's response was "well sir, we deal with thousands of dollars here, more than what you put down." I'm sorry, but since when did a dollar become less than a dollar? More

I went for a lease on the 2015 pathfinder which Nissan USA publish the amount on its website black and white. The finance manager first overcharge me by 800+, when I question the math, he brought it amount down by 600 (magically). I continue to question the overage but no answer. Since we already paid the 2,500 deposit, we got the car. We will make a inquiry with Nissan Finance and make a compliant with the Better Business Bureau. Service is slow, I believe the place is very busy. The owner owns more than 30 dealerships so management can be an issue. So buyer's beware. More

YUCK!!! I was looking over other reviews and wish that I too, had good things to say but I don't. When signing for the deposit transaction, I was told if I didn't buy a car from Bayridge Nissan, I would have a refund in about 10 business days. It's now over a month. Called more than 7 times about it, just get the run around from everyone at Bayridge Nissan. Who in this day and age, has the time or the ability to wait for their money back? Bills need to be paid and they just don't care because I didn't choose them for my car purchase. Messed up any way you slice it. More

We just bought new 2015 Murano with BayRigdeNissan (this was our 3rd Nissan dealer we saw) and it was the most pleasant talk/purchase ever. No hassle, no back and forward with the price. We came on Sunday – busy day but we didn't wait long for the sale person. We knew what we want, how much we want to spend and how much we could get for our car as a trade-in. If you do your homework – no one will screw you. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! Sales person Jose and financial manager Barry were very honest and very professional. No push to buy extras etc. On Tuesday we left with our new car after couple of hours of paper work: financials, insurance, dmv etc. I don’t know about used cars sale method but for brand new…this is the place to go. And ask for Jose – he is young but has passion for cars, knowledge and he has very nice personality. More
