The wait for the dealership to obtain approval of the repairs under the warranty was too long and I had to call the warranty company myself. I had brought the car in for repair in March and was charged $1,300 for repairs that did not fix the problem. I then waited to be scheduled for July 7, to have the Problem repaired. In the interim I made calls to the dealership even requesting that the service manager contact me, which he never did. I did receive a note from the parts department stating that the part that I had been waiting months for and which was sitting in the dealership waiting for them to schedule my repairs would be returned as it was waiting so long and not being repaired. I was dissatisfied with the service and had to pay $250 when they never fixed it to begin with. More
Dear Frank, I am writing to you directly because of how incredibly kind and professional you were to me when I picked up my vehicle. When you stepped in, apologized for how I was treated, and ordered the b incredibly kind and professional you were to me when I picked up my vehicle. When you stepped in, apologized for how I was treated, and ordered the brake fluid flush to be done for free, you showed me what true customer service looks like. I am deeply grateful that you stood up for me when I was feeling overwhelmed. While I truly appreciate your personal intervention, the core issue regarding the $600.00 charge for front brake pads and rotors remains unresolved. I am writing this letter in hopes that we can resolve this matter amicably between us, as my anger is directed entirely at the deceptive actions of my service advisor, Sal, and not at you or the dealership as a whole. To help clarify why I am requesting a refund of the $600.00, I wanted to share the exact timeline of what Sal put me through: 1 Monday, 7:30 AM: I dropped my vehicle off and paid a $189.00 diagnostic fee to look into an engine issue alongside my CarShield coverage. 2 Monday, 2:00 PM: Your department filmed an internal diagnostic video showing the condition of my brakes. Sal did not share this video with me. 3 Monday, 5:00 PM: Sal called right before closing to state CarShield approved the caliper, wiper motor, and oil pan gasket. He stated I owed $340.00 out-of-pocket for extra items (brake hoses/gaskets). I approved the $340.00. Sal completely omitted any mention of needing front brake pads and rotors. 4 Tuesday, 5:00 PM: After holding my car for 33.5 hours, Sal called right at closing time with an unexpected ultimatum: he stated the shop More
