Very Bad Service I took my 2014 Ford Focus to Fallon Ford to have a "Known" transmission issue resolved. I had a letter from the Ford Motor Company informing me the wa I took my 2014 Ford Focus to Fallon Ford to have a "Known" transmission issue resolved. I had a letter from the Ford Motor Company informing me the warranty had been extended on the "Defective Clutch" on the automatic transmission. I arrived for my 9:30 a.m appointment and was told it may take a good part of the day. I settled in and waited. After 4:00 p.m. they informed me the defective part did Not meet the requirement to be replaced and charged me $114.00. I had previously taken the same car to a dealership in the state of Washington for the same issue and they replaced the defective clutch without any issues and told me it was a known issue and to bring it back if the problem returned. Unfortunately, when the problem recurred, I was no longer living in Washington. Long story short, Ford put these defective clutches in thousands of cars and now they and their dealerships don't want to make it good. I will never purchase another Ford product and I most definitely will never return to Fallon Ford; not even to have the air pressure in my tires checked. Finally, Sarah McQueen was the service adviser I dealt with, and while I was hopeful, her demeanor and statements upon my arrival gave me the impression they had no intention of replacing the defective clutch. I brought my car in from Winnemucca to have a service recall done on my airbags, it took four hours which pretty much took up my entire day, but the Great service and beautiful customer lounge to wait in recall done on my airbags, it took four hours which pretty much took up my entire day, but the Great service and beautiful customer lounge to wait in, Made a long a pleasant day. At the dealership I showed the service advisor who then showed the shop foreman who said they would order a new knee bolster. I was informed the part wasn’t available and since then I tried calling to find out what the resolution would be. The service advisor texted me on her personal phone didn’t call me, so I asked again what the resolution would be and haven’t heard back for months. I’m very disappointed that after just a few days I’ve been forgotten. It should be their business model to at least stay in touch with a customer if their is an issue no matter how small. As of now I wouldn’t recommend Fallon Ford unless the rectify the situation. More
