I spoke to the service manager and requested that the labor rate be adjusted from 1.5hrs to .5 hours, as publicly available service information indicates that this particular service requires approximately .5 hours of actual wrench time (Ie, the time spent performing hands-on work) The Service manager declined to make any adjustment to the labor amount. I advise that, in light of this, I intended to pursue formal complaint through the Department of motor vehicles and the Better Business Bureau. In response the service. Manager stated “I look forward to it” The response reflects a lack of professionalism and dismissive approach to a reasonable ask.
