Eddy Hackney was a very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful salesman who was in no way pushy (which was definitely nice). We went to Family KIA just to browse the used car lot, when Eddy introduced to my father and I the 2008 KIA Sorento we just fell in love with the car, which I ended up buying later in the week!! Not only did he help us find the vehicle, but he serviced every picky detail me and my father found wrong with the suv (which was not much). My only complaints were that the car reeked of smoke, there was no key remote and the hood needed a new paint job, and Eddy took care of everything free of charge! He even supplied a loaner car while they were servicing mine! My favorite part about the deal was they extended the warranty from 60k to 100k!!! which was definitely a big deal for me since I have to drive back and forth from college. Overall I absolutely LOVE my new KIA Sorento and would most definitely reccommend Family KIA and Eddy Hackney, and already have twice this week! More
We just purchased a 2011 Soul to go with our 2011 Sorento. Why would we have two new cars? Well, it's because of Jack Parsons at Family Kia. I'm reluctant to call him a "salesman" because he is so Sorento. Why would we have two new cars? Well, it's because of Jack Parsons at Family Kia. I'm reluctant to call him a "salesman" because he is so much more than that. Basically, he asked us what we wanted and then went to extraordinary lengths to see that we were not only satisfied with our purchase, but actually felt good about the entire experience. Like most people, I'm not particularly thrilled about car shopping. But working with Jack on these two purchases has been a pleasure. In addition, Darwin was helpful with all the paperwork involved in buying a car and when an error occurred it was settled in our favor even though the dealership could have voided the sale and required us to come in and fill out all the paperwork again. If you look in our driveway, there's no doubt that we are a Kia Family -- and appropriately, that's due to Family Kia. If you want a Kia, just go there and ask for Jack. You won't be disappointed. More
We don't enjoy going car shopping. The experience is usually pit in your stomach and not always ending with a happy result. I must say shopping at Family Kia was a good experience. The process of getting our new Sportage took some time but that was due to their current inventory not including a vehicle that we wanted, color, options, etc. We provideed our requirements to our salespe but that was due to their current inventory not including a vehicle that we wanted, color, options, etc. We provideed our requirements to our salesperson Debbie Stearley and she went above and beyond with what seemed like a search of the entire state for what we were looking for, she was able to find the right vehicle at a different dealership. Once she was able to get us the vehicle we wanted, we were able to finish the deal within a day incluing getting the vhicle from the other dealer, prepping it and completing all of the documentation with Darwin, the Finance Manager. Overall, from our prospective, the staff at Family Kia works hard to get the customers what they want. They are professional, courteous and friendly. We are not necessarily the easiest customers to please but these guys have earned our loyalty, so much so that this is now our second purchase from them. This is truly a FAMILY relationship for us. More
They are very friendly and helped get my son a vehicle. We are from jacksonville and had to return the next day Debbie filled our tank with gas. I have never had anyone do that before. I drove from Mandarin to St. Augustine to purchase a new car, I had the best service from Eddie, he did exactly what he said he would do to get me in my new Soul. I have several people interested in the Ki car, I had the best service from Eddie, he did exactly what he said he would do to get me in my new Soul. First let me say this was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I was internet and phone shopping for an SUV to replace my 1994 Isuzu. I was merely comparison shopping to find the best starting point and then working out from there to get competing bids. I spoke first with Scott in a phone call following up on a radio ad I'd heard. When I called back to make an appt. Dave answered the phone and we agreed on a time (it's a 40 mile drive for me so I wanted to be sure). I stopped in at Family Kia to work over previous dealers numbers and get a quote (I wasn't going to buy yet). Dave and I spoke for a bit then he said he could go no lower but would ask Wayne to speak with me. Wayne met the lowest price quoted AND got me the color I wanted (the other dealer couldn't/wouldn't) even though it had to be trucked in from 350 miles away!. I traded in my old Rodeo that day (for well over a fair trade in price) and was was given a handshake and keys to a model smiliar to the one agreed upon to drive until my truck arrived. Three days later I got my new Sorento LX AWD as promised, the handshake price quoted turned out to be more than I actually paid as the finance department had already switched my tags and refunded the unused portion of the money secured for doing that! That's service. These folks have followed up several times with me to make sure everything is good and I'm happy (which I am). Thanks to your GREAT sales team and the service department that welcomed me in like family. More
