Great people I went looking for a car but have some challenging credit issues and after talking to a few dealerships I ended up back at Family Toyota. Extremely treated like Family My husband and I went in with an issue with his Truck and also wanted to see about purchasing his lease. We bought a new truck and took it back on Friday to get the windows tinted and a guy in the service area backed into something and instead of just fixing it they gave my husband another new truck and it would've cost $1200. more but they ate it. The whole Dealership was so nice and honest. We will only do business there and refer them to everyone. More

Hopefully he does so no one else has to deal with such unprofessionalism. TL;DR version - The dealership is beautiful. They have a ton of cars in a ton of options - you will be spoiled for choice. The salesperson we dealt with, Jermaine, was helpful, but after he talked to his manager Mr. Darville, we never saw him again. Mr. Darville was unpleasant to deal with and left us feeling like our business wasn't wanted and that he was able to see in the future that we'd never be back. I guess he was right because our interaction with him helped me decide that I'd rather pay thousands more dollars for a new car when we're ready than purchase one from a place that allows those kinds of sales practices and treatment of a potential customer. The dealership is great, just try to avoid interacting with Mr. Darville unless you are ready to purchase a car that very day because otherwise he becomes upset and dismissive. See detailed review below. We researched through this website dealers in our region as we are looking for a new car. At this time, we are researching and comparison shopping (which in my opinion any good consumer should do). We drove from out of town to this dealership which is not unusual for us since we were not satisfied with the options from our local dealerships and because, again, comparison shopping is something that smart consumers do, especially for a large purchase such as a car. When we arrived to the dealership we were greeted by Jermaine (I don't remember his full name, and was not given or offered his card) who did a great job helping us. He listed to us, he took time to pull a car for us and allow us to go on a test drive. When we walked up I explicitly explained we were just looking at this time. He handed us a paper to fill out which we did not as we explained that we were not interested in looking into specific financing until we were 100% ready to purchase a car as we do not want multiple inquiries on our credit report. When it got to the end of the sales pitch (he had gone back and priced a different offer after we explained the offer he provided was higher than what we had been quoted at another dealership), we were asked the standard "what can I do to get you into this car?" - no big deal and certainly not uncommon. We said, "nothing as we are just looking, obtaining information, and pricing cars so we can make a decision." Everything up to that point had been pleasant. Jermaine was professional, helpful, and not in any way unkind. He got up and was gone for a while, talking to his manager Mr. Darville. It was the last time we'd ever see Jermaine as he did not come back with his manager and did not shake our hands or offer us his card, which tells me a lot about how much they really wanted our future business and how they felt. Back to Mr. Darville, he came in strong asking us again what he could do to get us to purchase a car that day. He quoted statistics that said he doubted he'd see us again if we didn't buy today and continually asked us what he could do. I kept explaining that because 1) I want to have my down payment ready to go when I buy, not have to come back, mail a check, or give my debit card numbers until I can move the money, 2) because we like to take the time and really think about our purchases in detail before we make them, and 3) because we did not come there to buy that day which I explicitly mentioned when we came in there was nothing he could do because we weren't going to be purchasing that day. He was very aggressive and borderline rude - he insulted another dealership by inferring that they do not take care of their customers (which whether that is true or not is not something I think is appropriate nor does it leave a good taste in my mouth-I would hope that he could stand on the quality of their service without bringing someone else into it) and when he finally decided that there was not going to be a way to get us to buy a car that day he told us to have a great drive back to wherever we came from (those were his exact words - he knew what city we came from, especially given that he seemed so familiar with the sales and business practice of the local dealership). He abruptly left without offering us a card or anything which left us feeling surprised and very negative about the whole experience which up to the point of talking to him had been overall positive. Such a very disappointing experience just because we were not ready to buy that day when we had heard such good things about the service. I am just really surprised that a salesperson would write you off because you aren't going to be pressured into doing something the moment they want you to do it. Instead of leaving us with a very negative feeling about the whole situation, we could have left with a very positive feeling and have easily come back or recommended it to others because it is a beautiful dealership with lots of perks. Further his knowledge of the product is well beyond what one would expect. I have been buying cars for over 50years and it was one of the best experiences we have had.
