Overall Good Experience I’d love more than anything to give this dealership a 5 star review. The entire process from test driving to finalizing the loan was great. Our sales I’d love more than anything to give this dealership a 5 star review. The entire process from test driving to finalizing the loan was great. Our sales person Mark advocated for us and got us in the car we drove two hours to buy (certified pre-owned 2017 Santa Fe). We were first attracted to First Hyundai because of their extensive certified pre-owned inventory. Needless to say we traveled quite a distance. The drive was worth it when we drove away (the same day - even though it was a Sunday) with our certified Santa Fe. It was busy at the dealership as it was President’s Day weekend, but we were well taken care of from start to finish. The reason I only gave a three star review was because the dealerships follow through was not great. Since we traveled so far and I purchased the vehicle on a Sunday, the dealership was going to send the registration overnight to me once it came in. Unfortunately, the person who handles the mail in the office never paid the postage. So... needless to say the registration was supposed to arrive on a Saturday at the latest, but since the postage wasn’t paid the package went to the post office in the next town instead of being delivered to my mailbox. Since I live in a rural location we then had to wait until Monday to pick it up and pay for the postage. This required me to take time off from work to complete the inspection, which was now also a day late by law. Long story short, if the postage was paid or if the dealership simply didn’t promise that they could mail it to me on time, I would have either had the registration or made the trip to the dealership to get it. Hindsight, it would have been worth the trip. I’ll be going back this weekend for my first oil change, and to program a second key (that wasn’t available at the time I purchased the vehicle, but was promised to me). I’ve also discovered that the AC does not work so they’ll be taking a look at that too. My hope is we receive the service we did at the beginning of our car buying experience at the dealership and the service department staff are as good as Mark and Rod were. More
