I wanted to commend the airport shuttle that Fletcher Jones offers to all clients if you purchase your car from them. On Sunday, my flight landed at 10:40pm and the gate was occupied by another airplane. I called the shuttle service number and the gentleman who responded said that he would park the car outside the gates if I wasn't off the plane by 11pm which was thier last run. He also asked that I call him if I did manage to get off the plan before then. I got off the plane at around 10:55p but was waiting for a suitcase. At this time, the shuttle was at the airport. Eva, the driver, had notcied that the line for taxis was extremely long. Apparently, the dispatcher had let the taxis go away not realizing that a couple of flights were still due in. In any event, the gentleman at the office called me and said that he recommended that I pick up the car first and then return to the airport for my luggage, and they held the shuttle for me for a couple of minutes while I got over to the pick up area. And that's what I did, and it worked out well. They didn't just follow the standard process but adapted it to the situation. As always, FJ Mercedes continues to delight with outstanding customer service. More
They have this loyalty lease return deal that they promised you no penalty, no additional lease payment, they will pay off the lease, and get you a new lease, a bunch of BS. What they did was to bake promised you no penalty, no additional lease payment, they will pay off the lease, and get you a new lease, a bunch of BS. What they did was to bake the early termination penalty into the new lease, increase the lease payment without proper disclosing, and push you thru the deal. Very tricky. The dealer is desperate now and they will try anything just to sell a car. I called their manager to complaint later and he said to me - too bad, you signed the contract, California do not have cooling off period. I will never buy any car from this dealer again. More
My mother has leased all of her Mercedes from Fletcher Jones, and was completely satisfied. I knew I would be treated right and not be pressured into a vehicle I did not want. The sales representative, Ri Jones, and was completely satisfied. I knew I would be treated right and not be pressured into a vehicle I did not want. The sales representative, Rick Kilekas, was patient and accessed the list of all vehicles available in the US which contained the options I desired. Rick Kilekas made sure I was in the "right" car. I look forward to dealing with him in the future. More
Traded in vehicle with Craig Silva and was told the mileage would be written off if vehicle was leased from them. Traded in and took home. Months later received calls from finance department stating mileage would be written off if vehicle was leased from them. Traded in and took home. Months later received calls from finance department stating mileage needed to be paid. Criag said not to pay and that he was taking care of it. Months later receive letter from collections. Called Fletcher Jones and was informed Mr. Silva no longer worked there. Spoke to Paul Abraham who said he would look into it and not to call collection agency. After a few days with no response, called collections and was informed no one contacted them. Called the finance department and received the run around. Credit negatively affected with no attempt from Fletcher Jones to rectify their mess. Am in process of filing suit. More
My wife and I bought a 2006 S430 from FJ and initially were content with the people and the deal we got. But after only 3 weeks things changed considerably: 1) The second key that was promised to be sent were content with the people and the deal we got. But after only 3 weeks things changed considerably: 1) The second key that was promised to be sent to us (because the original one was broken by them during the test drive) was never sent and was later told that because of fraud issues we would have to drive over a hour and a half to order and then again to pick up. 2) car head light went out after 2 weeks even after we were shown a 2-3 page list of items that were checked and certfied but the service dept. 3). In less then 3 weeks the transmission now seems to be failing and is back at a local dealership for diagnosis and repair. My wife and I placed serveral calls and sent emails to FJ management and sales people and were left with "understand why you feel upset" but nothing in the way of assistance in remedding the situation. I understand that cars are going to have problems but to have significant problems within 2-3 weeks of buying and then to get oh well from a dealership that says "it has grown in to one ...... and most respected automotive groups in the world". I certainly have lost all respect for them and unless things change dramatically will never recommend them to anyone and actually would suggest other options to anyone I talk to about buying a MB. I had a great experience with Fletcher Jones dealership, my sales consultant, JB Siribandan, went well out of his way to make sure all my needs were met. I live in San Diego so Fletcher Jones was kind of a drive for me and I was actually a little hesitant to make the drive but the service I received from JB and the dealership made the drive well worth it and I will make Fletcher Jones my permanent dealership. I actually have already recommended JB and Fletcher Jones to a co-worker who is looking for a new car; I may actually drive him up there myself if he is worried about the drive. More
I went to Fletcher Jones without the intention of purchasing a car, just to "look". But within a few minutes I was overwhelmed by such great service from everyone and especially from "Irish Mike” who purchasing a car, just to "look". But within a few minutes I was overwhelmed by such great service from everyone and especially from "Irish Mike” who initially was the gentleman who gave me the opportunity to purchase my 2004 C230 Mercedes. Had it not been for him and his excellent customer service I would not be driving my "Benz" now! I was so impressed with all the great amenities that Fletcher Jones offers. From the gift shop, coffee shop, nail service, shoe shine ect. I felt like I was at a five star hotel and then some. This is a resort! I had a concern with my window and sent a letter to Mr. Blumenthal on a Wednesday afternoon. By Friday when I returned from work I had a message from Joe McIntyre at his request to call me and have my window replaced, not repaired. Mr. Blumenthal is indeed a role model that all businesses should follow. He truly knows how to take care of his customers. I was also fortunate to have Mr. Devon Priscilla be my service representative. He was awesome too! Everyone I have had the pleasure to have contact with is. This is definitely not my last Mercedes. I look forward to buying other cars here in the future. The service, people, and selection are more then anyone could ever ask for! More
Fletcher Jones Salesman is pushy, lier, deals fraudulently. My wife and I were at Fletcher Jones October 4, 2008. My wife found a car that she liked with most of the amenities she wanted. Dani fraudulently. My wife and I were at Fletcher Jones October 4, 2008. My wife found a car that she liked with most of the amenities she wanted. Daniel DiConti appreared to be very helpful and then became very pushy. I told him that I would do my research to find out what the car was worth to me. I called him back the next day, made an offer with a trade in and he kept insisting that I come back to work out the deal. I live over an hour away and I told him I don't wish to waste his time or mine or be haggled unless we had a deal. After that I had numerous phone calls from different associates, one of them being Ed Cohan trying to talk me into meeting with me at Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach. I advised them all of my deal and that there was no reason for me to travel an hour+ unless we had a deal. Finally, on Sunday October 19th, I emailed Daniel DiConti and told him about all the people that had contacted me and told him that if he still had the car and agreed to my deal I would drive down. Tuesday October 20th at night I got a call from his assistant by the name of Blake who told me that Daniel wants me to come down and finalize the deal as it is getting to the end of the month. I asked Blake to make sure the car was still available and upon checking with Danielle confirmed that it was. I told him that I would be there on Wednesday the 21st at 3:00 pm and he said they would be waiting for me with the car. On Wednesday at about 11:30 am I called Blake to ask if I could meet with them around 1:30 PM. He checked with Daniel and said that would be great. I got there at about 1:30. While I was looking for the car on the F.J. lot Daniel came towards me and said "you won't believe it we just sold it, but we have plenty of other cars to choose from" I advised him that Blake told me the car was being held for me. The least that should have been done was to contact me, so that I would not have to leave work wasting time, and money. I honestly feel this was a very dishonest and fraudulent way of doing business. As a matter of fact the Better Business Bureau should be involved to check on this dealership. This is not the way to treat potential customers, or do business. More
Fletcher Jones and Ramin Arian are crooks! I had the adsolutly worst experience I could have had with purchasing a car. I have phenomenal credit and am easily able to afford and expensive vehicle. Ramin adsolutly worst experience I could have had with purchasing a car. I have phenomenal credit and am easily able to afford and expensive vehicle. Ramin Arian who's an xxx and a sexist pig continued to make sexual remarks and financial comments about me when i was emailing him back and forth while negotiating for the car. I explained to him i was interested in the car and would much rather he refrain from sexual comments. Ramin stopped and I visited the dealership to view the vehicle he promised he had. When I arrived the vehicle was not in stock. He explained that someone was bringing it for him and if i wanted to grab a drink..I said no! i left the dealership with no car and feeling that i was tricked into going to the dealership for Ramin Arian to sexually harass me and take advantage of me...Fletcher Jones should be ashamed to have employees like that! I bught my car from Anaheim Mercedes the next day!! More
Service department is highway robbery. I brought in my out of warranty Mercedes for scheduled service. They came back to me with a long list of other items that needed service totaling about $2000. I sa out of warranty Mercedes for scheduled service. They came back to me with a long list of other items that needed service totaling about $2000. I said no thanks and took instead to an independent shop. They charged me a total of less than $500 for all same items. I expected it to be a lot cheaper but, but not this. I was suspicious when FJ quoted me $400 to replace a fuel filter and $200 for a rear shifter bushing which only costs $1.75 plus 30 minutes labor. Of course I had no idea what these things should cost, but it didn't sound right to me. Am I glad I followed my instincts. This kind of price gouging of unsuspecting customers is simply unethical. BTW, the shop I went to is Coast MBZ in Costa Mesa. John is a really nice guy and very fair in his practices. Tell him Terry sent ya. More
