Skeptic turned believer I found the car I was looking for online and called to inquire about it. After losing 2 previous cars to timing and a dealer who reneged on a deal I I found the car I was looking for online and called to inquire about it. After losing 2 previous cars to timing and a dealer who reneged on a deal I was hesitant to say the least. Add to that I was buying my first used car and it was from out of state, cautiously skeptical would be the nice way of putting my thoughts going into this. I called on a Thursday and spoke to Haig who swore up and down that the car was what was claimed, told me about the Dealerships good standing with the BBB and positive reviews, etc. and asked me to trust him. Given said skepticism, trust wasn't in the cards. However, I gave him a down payment to secure the car with the promise that if the car wasn't what they said it was, it was refundable. He also sent me a copy of the work they had done to the car to give me a general idea of it's condition. Buying out of state and dealing with pre-approved financing was going to be annoying with the timing and the bank's requirements. We agreed on a price and then I spoke to JD who was able to beat the rate I had previously acquired. That made doing paperwork hassle and stress free which I appreciated. I noticed some issues with the wheels from the posted pics and was told it would be taken care of. We scheduled for me to come out on Saturday afternoon to pick up the car and when I got there it was exactly what was advertised. The car appeared to be in fantastic shape, looked practically brand new even though it was 5 years old, and the wheels were repaired as promised. Test drove it, liked what I felt, took care of paperwork and drove away happy. There were a couple small follow-up items to be handled in the coming weeks. Haig followed-up with me to make sure there were no issues getting the car registered and making sure I had all the proper paperwork for that to go smoothly. They had a new 2nd key delivered to my house and took care of the programming cost. A minor problem with the AC system was discovered and after speaking with Tanana in service, they agreed to cover that repair as well. All in all, I have been very pleased with my experience at Foley Motorsports and it is fair to say that dealing with the staff here has made the experience a positive one. More

I found him to be helpful, honest, down to earth and non-pressuring. He followed up on each communication and facilitated getting the car to a third party for an independent pre-sale inspection. My takeaways from this experience: Consumers have much greater access to relevant information when it comes to buying used cars as opposed to new. Someone else has eaten the "drive it off the lot" depreciation and therefore it's wiser economically to purchase used. That said, the integrity of the dealer is key. Foley seems to stock excellent cars and if my experience is indicative, Greg will make the sales experience one of high-integrity. I would certainly consider purchasing my next vehicle from Foley. More
