This review is not to talk bad about Ford, but to educate anyone who buys a used vehicle from Ford or any other dealership. due to, they cannot afford a brand new vehicle, which I am one of those people and anyone who buys a used vehicle from Ford or any other dealership. due to, they cannot afford a brand new vehicle, which I am one of those people and hope this helps the next person.. If you are purchasing a vehicle that is considered Certified from Spring Hill Ford. I suggest you bring your mechanic to go over the vehicle, if you do not know what important parts to look over in or on a used vehicle. I just purchased a 2022 F250 it was a Certified truck. I was told that since this truck is certified that their ASE certified mechanic has gone over everything in the truck to make sure everything is up to standards and Ford certified is supposed to be something similar to purchasing new but lightly used with Warranty and potentially no issues. Here are the most concerning issues I found that were very obvious upon opening the hood and doing a quick overview of the truck. 1 - Batteries- Both batteries were leaking battery acid from the top of the batteries. and could barely start the truck. They were most likely original from date of purchase. (2022) The terminals were so corroded. You could barely see there was a battery terminal connection underneath.. 2 - Tires - All four tires, if they were over the tread where indicator they were barely over the tread wear indicator not sure how that could meet any certification Especially on a heavy duty truck. 3 - Alignment - the alignment in the truck was very bad and pulling to the right, not only was it pulling to the right, but the steering wheel was turned 25° or % to the right , not sure how to word that. The absolute main reason I am upset is because If I did not go over the truck and find these issues, as I did not have the money to pay mechanic to go with me, it would have been my problem. And I would have had to pay to fix these issues. Myself. They did repair almost everything that I have explained in this review except for one thing, and I will explain.. They did replace the batteries 😊 with no issues. They did replace the two front tires as I told them I believe all four tires should be replaced, but I definitely will not buy this truck if they don’t at least put two new tires on the front. Maybe this is my fault I should have requested all four to be replaced for the final sale. But I don’t like to haggle with anyone. And I was just hoping they would do it as they made out very well with my trade-in.!! After putting the new tires on the front of the truck, they told me they could not align the front end and fix the steering wheel as their machine does not accommodate heavy duty trucks like Ford F250s No alignment No fixing the steering wheel. And they told me they would not pay for it as they did not agree to doing it during purchase and that I had to take it to Top Line auto repair and I would have to pay for it.. I have never a day in my life, put new tires on the front of any vehicle, even a bucket and not have had an alignment done. I was always under the impression it had to be done whether you wanted to or not.. Or you were risking your new tires to be worn very quickly. I will say the Salesman BILL SCHWIEBERT is absolutely amazing at what he does and did all he could to try to get the solution fixed, but this was out of his power. Be careful and pay attention when buying a used vehicle, even if it is labeled certified !! This review is not on the Salesman or for the Salesman BILL SCHWIEBERT This bad review is for Ford management !! I will be writing another 105 star review for BILL SCHWIEBERT !!! More
