I have driven GMC my entire life and have never had a problem until going to Frank Brown Auto in Lubbock. Two thumbs down. More

Customer Service and facility way behind the competition!! Took my vehicle in because my condenser was leaking at the seal, and asked for my shocks to be greased (as the service manager suggested) and it was n Took my vehicle in because my condenser was leaking at the seal, and asked for my shocks to be greased (as the service manager suggested) and it was not done. The entire time I dealt with Sammy in the service department, I had the feeling I was bothering him or interrupting his day. Finally, when I got the call that my vehicle was “ready for pickup”, I asked if my shock problem was diagnosed and fixed and he told me he would call me back, and when he called me back 5 mins later he said they couldn’t find any problem with my shocks, and the first speed bump out of the dealership, they squeeqed loud enough for my girlfriend to comment on them! So obviously my girlfriend is more qualified for listening for an issue than the GMC service department. I won’t be back unless I absolutely have no other option, in which case, I won’t deal with Sammy! More

Quality of service is lacking. I've taken my truck in for a front end alignment twice now and my truck still pulls to the right. Not what I expect of Honda 3rd trip to dealership, (after being patted on the head 2x), they finally found the problem. Did not explain problem to me. Just said “We’re replacing 3rd trip to dealership, (after being patted on the head 2x), they finally found the problem. Did not explain problem to me. Just said “We’re replacing the transmission & some electrical parts. We’ll let you know when they are here.” No loaner car available to me while fixing a warrantied issue. Service mgrs explaination was “Each Service Tech has one loaner they can use. His is being used. I don’t agree with this policy.” Turns out the supposedly new(?) transmission doesn’t come with a 60k warranty. It is only warrantied through the car’s 60k miles. (Car is at 31k). I only got this information because I called & asked to speak to a manager. Guess I’ll be selling this car. This is my 3rd Honda. I doubt I’ll buy another one. Very disappointed, after spending $32k. Salespeople are great. All service people are nice. They just don’t live up to what I expect of Honda. More
Terrible Experience I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance for my engine light being on. I showed up for my appointment and was told they did not have an appointm I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance for my engine light being on. I showed up for my appointment and was told they did not have an appointment for me. They told me they would be able to get to it soon and would let me know what they find. Six hours later I call and they still have not looked at it, but say that it is next in line and to expect a call in the next couple of hours. I didn't hear from them the rest of that day or the next morning. I called the next morning at 11 and was told they still haven't seen it. They repeated that they would get to it soon. I heard back several hours later and was told that they found the issue and that the throttle body position sensor needed to be replaced and it would cost $355. I asked for the part number to price it myself. I checked with two places and both confirmed the part number did not fit my vehicle but an equivalent was $20-30. I went to the dealer the following morning to pick up my truck and was told the technician still had his scanner plugged in to it and he was on a test drive. They told me he should be back any minute. Thirty minutes later they pull my truck around and charge me $99. The paperwork included no diagnostic information at all. Everything about this experience was unacceptable. I will not be returning. More

When some scratches were detected they refused to even do touch ups. The key fob was broken and they would not provide a replacement. While I purchased a one year old car, I still expect more customer service than what was provided. More
