Above and beyond As a recent transplant from DC, I hadn’t owned a car in 20 years (and maybe drove a grand total of only 6 hours per year each of those 20 years!), but As a recent transplant from DC, I hadn’t owned a car in 20 years (and maybe drove a grand total of only 6 hours per year each of those 20 years!), but within 8 months of moving to Raleigh, I realized my car-free ways were no longer feasible. I spent about 6 weeks researching (after all, cars have changed A LOT in 20 years!) and knew exactly what I wanted when I arrived at the dealership. Jody greeted me at the door, found me just about exactly what I wanted, and walked me through every single detail on the car during my test drive and before leaving the dealership. He synced up my phone, was super patient with all my questions about what each bell and whistle did, and kept a cheerful attitude the whole time. After all, I had a steep learning curve! Before I left the dealership, he gave me a complete tour of the place, walked me through the service area and the process for getting my car serviced, and made sure I felt comfortable before letting me go on my merry way. I was super nervous about such a big commitment, especially having not owned a car in two decades), but Jody made the entire experience so pleasant, and dare I say fun. More

Although I could have purchased a car from another dealership closer to my home, it was my past several purchases dealing with Carl that had me coming back once again. 10 STARS FOR JUNIOR Junior Hayes was an Absolute wonderful sales person. I hate for a salespersons to bother me and hover over top of me and I am looking at a vehicle and talking with my husband. He is a GREAT asset to Fred Anderson. Because of him I had a wonderful first time experience at Fred Anderson. HE NEEDS TO BE THE SALESMEN OF THE YEAR AND NEEDS 10 STARS OUT OF A 5 STAR RATING!!!!! Worst car buying experience I've had Ive been searching for a new car for a couple of weeks now, going to multiple places and have generally been approached with patience and respect, unt Ive been searching for a new car for a couple of weeks now, going to multiple places and have generally been approached with patience and respect, until today. I was working with another sales member (who is not on the site), who was very pleasant and I was having a good experience. This staff member and I were running numbers when Terrance entered the scene. He was immediately aggressive and I realized quickly that he was not there to have a conversation with me. As I stated my concern over the interest rate being offered, he began pounding on the keyboard and pulled up the Fred Anderson website where he pointed to the fine print that stated that a credit score of 800 or more was required to get a good interest rate. So I said "so you want my credit score to be 800, theres nothing I can do about that." (I have good credit, but its not 800). He says no and begins grinding his pen into the paper in front of me at the numbers I've already seen and know will not work for me. I attempt to explain to him that I currently have better financing through my bank. He continues to impatiently grind the pen into the paper, interrupt me, and speak so condescendingly and harshly that I finally looked at the sales associate and told her that I didn't want to work with him anymore and I was uncomfortable. He shoves the paperwork at the associate and walks away. I was so thrown off by his instant aggression and harsh behavior that I told the sales associate that I wanted to leave. The manager ( I cannot recall his name) did speak with me outside and attempt to reconcile the situation, however the damage was done. What a horrible experience and such a rude person. There are too many places in Raleigh to buy cars to be dealing with that especially when the prices are already too high. More
