When they want to sell you a used car, they'll treat you like gold. But return for the installation of "we owe" item that was outlined in the sales contract, the service manager and his crony both walked a like gold. But return for the installation of "we owe" item that was outlined in the sales contract, the service manager and his crony both walked away and left me standing the next to the car in the check in bay, without uttering a word. Had to wait 10 minutes before the person from used car sales came over (he was the only competent and kind person in the process). While sitting in vacant intake person's chair, I got to watch every other person being checked in after me get offered a bottled water water, plastic seat protectors and floor mat protectors neatly placed in their cars, and they were kindly directed to the waiting area. Not me. Lesson learned about the service bay operation: when the service advisor makes little to no commission on "we owe" item or promise work, you find out quickly you are not part of the "family plan." To be clear, I followed the instructions given to me: "go to the service department at the scheduled appointment time and tell them to ask for Traevon for a "we owe" item." First they said they never heard of him. I had to show the text I received for them to believe me. Then both the service manager and intake person ghosted me (they simply walked away and didn't come back). To be fair, Traevon from the used car division took car of the install quickly and professionally. Kudos to him. But 1 star (can't leave 0) to the service department. This was the 3rd car purchased from Fred Anderson in past 6 years (first 2 were new, this one was used) More
