Jody made the buying experience easy and friendly...and he showed me several vehicles that met my needs and answered some critical questions for me. No rush or pressure either. Trade-in price on a 2006 Camry was fair, and the purchasing paperwork all went smoothly. Scott really had all the paperwork in perfect order for my purchase, explaining each of the documents as we went thru them. Then Jody made sure to link my cell phone to the hands-free system, and showed me how to lock in radio stations before I left. All over, a great experience. More

He has been an excellent salesperson, both during and.following our Highlander purchase. We are enjoying how our new Highlander runs, but we have a few complaints about its design features: 1. GPS is significantly inferior to our 10-year-old Garmin. Frequently gives incorrect directions, and doesn't provide any speed limit information. It is disappointingly difficult to use and to trust. 2. Multimedia package on dashboard is not intuitive. Determining how to do something as simple as reducing the volume on the GPS voice is an exercise in frustration. 3. The driver information on the dashboard behind the steering wheel is not visible in daylight and is much too cluttered to be helpful. Picking out items of information takes the driver's attention away from the road for a dangerously long time. 4. The clock is not bright enough to be visible when driver is wearing sunglasses. 5.. The sun visors have been disappointingly redesigned since we bought our 2002 Avalon. Both the extenders and the small auxiliary visor are now gone. We have used both of those virtually every time we have driven our Avalon over the last 14 years. We highly recommend that Toyota return both the visor extenders and the small auxiliary visor to their future automobiles. 6. Having clothes hangers only above passenger windows creates both a safety hazard for driver visibility and a nuisance for passengers in the rear seats. Clothes hangers would be much better placed on the walls of the luggage compartment. 7. Cheap portfolio with no closure mechanism for owner's manuals is annoying in the extreme. Our 2002 Avalon's owner's manual portfolio zips closed and thus holds all manuals and other paperwork (registration card, insurance info, etc.) inside when not in use. We have owned our new Highlander for only a week, and this money-saving portfolio downgrade for Toyota has aggravated us numerous times already. 8. Black floor carpet mats are awful. They show every speck of dirt. The gray floor mats in our 14-year-old Avalon, on the other hand, show practically no dirt between infrequent cleanings. We highly recommend that Toyota switch to gray carpet with gray interior autos and brown carpet with brown interior autos. 9. We have left our most important disappointment for last -- the hitch receiver. a. The hitch receiver is only held in place by weld(s). There is no arm extension that is bolted to the frame, as we have come to expect with every other hitch receiver in our extensive experience with hitches and receivers. Because of this, the entire safety of the towed vehicle rests on the strength of that weld. There is no fallback. If this is not a factory-installed weld, then how are the quality of the weld and the welder verified by Toyota? b. The 4-pronged wiring receiver is not secured in any way whatsoever. If one attempts to connect a trailer wire to it, the 4-pronged receiver just pushes through and hangs down. We requested the electrical receiver for the larger 7-prong connection, which is more prevalent today than the 4-prong, but were told that it was not available. More

Hr is honest, straightforward, no pressure, professional, and friendly. He gives me a very fair price right up front, and the dealership has been on the mark with trade-in values. I also service my cars there and have been totally pleased. This time, my business person was Scott Kline. I knew him from the service department as that is where he used to work. He provided excellent service there, and now in the business office. It was a no hassle friendly experience with no pressure to purchase items I was not interested in. More
