Tired of the price gouging. $100 is ridiculous to pay for injecting a fuel induction cleaner. And $300 to replace brakes that cost $189. This kind of pricing has been going on for some time and now that my husband has seen my last two bills, I am not allowed to return for normal service any longer. The service gentlemen are smooth talkers that do their job well and make you think you need particular services that are completely overcharged and before you know it, you end up with a $700 bill each time. Oil change 3 Jun 2019 Purchased an oil change for my Toyota Avalon, every went well. No complaints for the service department, the waiting room is pretty terrible. They have office space that open into the waiting room so there a constant noise and foot traffic from employees. When I when there was some important person (Upper management) there doing a walk around so everyone was pretty much walking on egg shells. Needless to say the waiting room was buzzing with employees talking about one thing or anther. Service department is great in my opinion- waiting room not so good. Bring some head phones if you choose to wait at this dealership. More
Oil Change Error After a scheduled oil change on 24May19, I found my oil cap had not been secured. I discovered this one week after the initial oil change. I was conce After a scheduled oil change on 24May19, I found my oil cap had not been secured. I discovered this one week after the initial oil change. I was concerned damage had been done to the engine. I scheduled an appointment to have the Fred Anderson Toyota Dealership In Sanford, NC check and see what damage, if any, had occurred due to their error. The oil change technicians didn’t inspect my car, I was watching from the sales room. They said they had checked it out. They never took my car into the bay. One of the employees straight lied to me about it, when I asked him if they checked it out. I spoke to Bryan, the maintenance manager, about what happened and he became defensive. He had a certified Toyota technician inspect the car after I requested it be done to ensure no damage was done to the engine. Bryan told me a story that didn’t match up with what the Toyota technician told me about the services and inspections conducted that day to ensure no damage had been done to the engine due to their error. After everything was said and done the maintenance report didn’t reflect anything that Bryan said had been done. He then became extremely rude and starting to become offensive with his comments. He changed the report to reflect what had supposedly been done. I am disappointed with the maintenance managers handling of this situation and believe he should be trained to better respond to customer concerns. Especially concerns due to errors by his department. I am seriously thinking about taking my business to Rick Henderson Toyota of Fayetteville, NC due to the maintenance manager’s behavior. More
