I received notifications from 5 different people on the truck beforehand but no one to let me know it was no longer available and to not waste My time and vacation leave by honoring my appointment time. Lots of pushing In addition to the high cost of any service, it is annoying to have a long list of "recommended services" without checking if any are needed. For exam In addition to the high cost of any service, it is annoying to have a long list of "recommended services" without checking if any are needed. For example, when told about a recommended alignment, I asked them to check if one were needed--it wasn't. Without my asking, I would assume--if I trusted the service center--I "should" have an alignment. And this is just an example. The service people (in general, and certainly the last person with whom I worked) are very courteous and willing to talk about their "recommendations"; my guess is the push for separating the customer from her or his money by making recommendations for services without checking if they are needed, is from management/Toyota/whomever. More
