Freehold Subaru Dealership - Lease The reason i will not recommend this dealership is that they used a bait and switch tactic. I test drove a specific vehicle identified the vin # and u The reason i will not recommend this dealership is that they used a bait and switch tactic. I test drove a specific vehicle identified the vin # and ultimatelymade a deal with the salesman Sean. He confirmed the deal with the general manager. This is were the switch takes place. The vin # used for the lease was same color, interior and trim, however the oprions were not which equated to a lower cost vehicle than agreed on. I realized this the next day "sunday" contacted the dealership, salesman and GM. With no resolution. I contacted Subaru of America executive team and CEO who made good of these antics. They promised a gift card to go though the electronics review thing but then “lost” the Meeting: Good cars and friendly people but empty promises. They promised a gift card to go though the electronics review thing but then “lost” the card. Every time I ask about it I’m told it’s here or there, with some other guys who’s out right now or they act confused saying I should have already received it. Similarly I was promised a different card as a referral reward. Well as luck would have it a coworker was looking for a similar car and he bought a few weeks after I did. Again no card sent. When I ask they either ignore it or say it should have been mailed. It’s been months now. Either they are dishonest or someone on the inside is stealing their rewards cards. Either way prepare to be disappointed. More
