Service department was very great. The software update created issues, but the service team got me in and out quickly the following day to address the problems. I live in Riverside and choose to come to the dealership in Garden Grove because the customer service is much better. I still am very satisfied with the customer service in the service department. On this last occasion, my car was kept for a day & a half for an engine light. I paid $900 for a 30k service, hoping that would help, it didn’t. The outcome was to purchase Chevron 91 gas, instead of Costco gas. This is frustrating because the gas is considered an “outside influence” and if it continues I’ll be held responsible for the repair charges. Kia does not sell gas, so this is a convenient way of getting out of covering maintenance charges within warranty. My car has 27k miles and is a 2019. Costco gas did not cause this problem. One of the reasons I purchased this car because it does not require premium gas. I missed two days of work, to be told spend more money on gas. The customer service was great. The service to my vehicle was not, I’m just frustrated. More

I've taken my care in twice for the same issue and have not had it resolved. It was recommended to make a purchase of a new battery to help resolve the issue and it is present still. Above all the employees do not seem to care about the clients. There is no ownership when it comes to problem solving, they do the bare minimum when it comes to service. It's very inconsistent the service you can expect. Sometimes you get your car wash, other times you don't. I am not sure if this is across the board for Kia but the customer service is really bad.
