Painless car shopping The time had come to replace my SUV which had almost 200,000 miles. I did my research and narrowed it down to three vehicles I wanted to test drive. The time had come to replace my SUV which had almost 200,000 miles. I did my research and narrowed it down to three vehicles I wanted to test drive. I had a relative who purchased cars froms Gates all of his life, so I decided to start my shopping with Gates Nissan and drive a used Rogue I saw online. We walked in and were greated by Nate and from there it became very easy. He really listened to what I wanted and found a few vehicles to choose from. He was extremely knowledgable about the cars and answered all my questions. He was really helpful walking me through all of my options, and was never pushy. The entire staff was great and the dealership is spotless! I should have cancelled my other test drives! The other dealers were nowhere near Gates in quality and I knew the second we left the Honda dealer in Hartford (which was a total disaster) that I was going back and buying the Rogue. I highly recommend Gates and Nate Rameaka and will be a returning customer in the future. More

He started with asking us which features we were interested in and then pulled a similar SUV (Acadia SLT 2) into the "Garage" so that we could check it out without getting wet. He spent four hours showing us the vehicle; including the infotainment system and allowed both my husband and I a long test drive. We took the SUV home that night for a further test drive and then returned it the following morning. We were comparing to many other SUVs/ dealerships. Devante showed sincere concern, knowledge and honesty. He's a great family guy that works hard selling cars. He rose above all the other sale people that we spoke to and we are so happy that we chose the GMC and can give the sale to Devante. We actually returned the same day, drove the Acadia one more time and then bought it. Anthony, the sales manager, another great guy, finished up the "paperwork/financing" of the sale. They both made our experience very positive. More
