I purchased a used certified 2018 f150 lariat from Dejan on Saturday. Two days later the engine light comes on it’s a P0012 Intake Camshaft Position Timing - Over-xxxxxxxx (Bank 1). I tell Dejan I needed it on Saturday. Two days later the engine light comes on it’s a P0012 Intake Camshaft Position Timing - Over-xxxxxxxx (Bank 1). I tell Dejan I needed it checked out. I bring it over next day talked to the Used car service center rep /supervisor and he tells me that all he did was reset the check engine light without physically looking at the engine. I take it home and not even a couple hours go by and the check engine light comes on again. I text Dejan and he refers me to Ryan from the service department. I tell Ryan I need this need to be fixed, he then tells me that if it is what he think is wrong with the truck he could not get it done within the week( I travel for work). He then proceeded to tell me that i can get it done elsewhere due to my warranty. I’m 4 days of ownership of this truck and I feel that Gaudin Ford does not take ownership of their work/problem. If I made a product and sold it to someone and they tell me it’s defective, I DONT tell them that it’s not an issue and the product works fine and I DONT tell them I don’t have time to fix it for them and go elsewhere to get it done after a couple days of ownership. I’m upset in the service that was provided to me. Gaudin ford has been around 100years? Im sure you had great service at one point to last 100 year, but from what I had witness I’m not sure Gaudin Ford will last much longer if this continues More
