Flavio, I remain upset that I was not able to order a replacement for my 540i with Germain. It continues to haunt me that I was unable complete the sale's transaction. I contacted somewhere between 50 and 100 BMW dealers in the greater USA. This included going as far as Boston and Kansas City. Not one of these contacts had inventory of BMWs that met my need. I finally called Bramon Motors in Palm Beach. Bramon not only had inventory but had a boat coming in from Germany. I am picking up a new 540i on Wednesday. The time from my order to delivery was about one week. Why is it that Bramon can provide a new car and Germain and other BMW dealers cannot? Even Vista Motors has no inventory. It almost appears that Beamon has operatives on the ground in Munich. Germain BMW is truly superlative and BME North America understands that very well. It would seem to me that they would ensure your inventory needs are met. Best regards, Maarten

We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue with your pre-owned vehicle. Acura products are known for their longevity and reliability. The low mileage Acura in question was thoroughly inspected and serviced prior to your purchase. Due to the age of this vehicle, it was sold on an "AS IS" basis. Prior to agreeing to the purchase of a vehicle, the customer is also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by an independent third party and can bring to our attention any mechanical or cosmetic concerns that they may have with the vehicle. You purchased the Acura on 7/21 and drove approximately 690 miles to your home in South Carolina. On Saturday 7/23 our sales consultant followed up and you mentioned: "You arrived safe, and sound and you loved the car." There was no mention of any issues or trouble with the vehicle at this time and mileage. After continuing to drive the Acura, you emailed on 7/26 saying you were having trouble starting the Acura. Our sales consultant then called back and spoke to you regarding the concerns, shortly thereafter you sent a written response threatening legal action. In an effort to offer assistance, our sales manager then reached out and found that you had in fact purchased an extended warranty and asked that you take the vehicle to a local Acura dealership for diagnosis. This is not an accurate response from the dealer, no accountability whatsoever. As expected the public response differentiates substantially from what I personally received. It’s a shame they are still demonstrating their claimed values don’t apply to EVERY customer.
