Just bought a used Hyundai Santa Fe from this dealership in December 2023. I was initially extremely impressed with my salesperson, but when I asked if a specific car service was working, I was told it was in December 2023. I was initially extremely impressed with my salesperson, but when I asked if a specific car service was working, I was told it was (BlueLink), and in fact, they gave me 3 free months of the service. The problem was that the previous owner of the vehicle let the service lapse, and it fell asleep. I tried for 4 months to activate the service with no luck. They offered to replace the head unit for $1300, way to go, They sold me an extended warranty, but it didn't cover BlueLink. Wasy to go, Hyundai!! Rip us off!! Be careful out there! Do not trust sales staff here! More

Below is the reason for my one-star review, for a dealership I've done business for many years. I leased a 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV from Gettel Hyundai of Charlotte County on 04/25/2024. As part of dealership I've done business for many years. I leased a 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV from Gettel Hyundai of Charlotte County on 04/25/2024. As part of their promotion, I was to receive two years of free charging, Which was a major factor in my decision to lease an all-electric vehicle. Once I returned home and downloaded the app. for the charging network (Electrify America) I found there are three charging stations south of Bradenton. One in Sarasota, 130mi. r/t. 2hrs.22min. travel time. Naples, 136mi. r/t. 2hrs 20min. travel time, and the closest, the northern end of Port Charlotte, 42mi. r/t. 1hr. travel time. I was not told that Electrify America's network is non-existent where I live. If they had, I would never have leased an Electric Vehicle. When I brought it to Joey Soto's attention I was told that I should be happy with the one charging station that is a 42mi. r/t for me. I also would like to add that I have a 10k miles-a-year lease, and using that charger would put me over 12k miles a year, costing me more money at the end of my lease. I feel that I was deceived or Gettel misrepresented the facts when I was told that I had access to free charging to a charging network that doesn't exist in my area of the state and is adding thousands of dollars in additional charging expenses that I thought I would be saving, and eliminates the valuable incentive offered with my lease. Gettel Hyundai has a fast charger on their property that is functional, but was taken offline for some reason. I was told that by their finance manager the next day after I purchased my lease. I was told by Joey Soto, the salesman who sold me the lease that they were putting the charger back online. It has been 1 month since I was told that, and when I texted him on 04/22 he still didn't know when it would be online and he would get back to me with an answer. that was 4 days ago without him replying to me yet. I also left a message for the General Manager to call me the day after my lease purchase without ever hearing back from him. That was a month ago. Even though the Electrify America charging network doesn't exist in my area of Florida, the fast charger at the dealership would suffice and serve my needs being 10 miles from my home. Gettel has not shown any urgency in getting their charger online and functioning. In contrast, within the 72 miles between West Palm Beach and Miami, there are 18 Electrify America charging stations. On my side of the state, from Sarasota to Naples, 116 miles, there are three! More
