Probably, if you bought a new car, they would be fine. Cedric was a great salesman. Our issue was we HAD to get a used car. Ours was totaled while on vacation up north. We got a jumpstart and headed back to Gettel Hyundai, in Punta Gorda. I know that a used car most often, is an AS IS sale. I thought, since I would be back to purchase a NEW Hyundai Santa Fe, in good faith, they would replace the batteries. They did not. Too bad, I won’t be back! More

The sales experience was fine but the aftermath left a lot to be desired. When we picked up the vehicle there was a problem with a piece of plastic that fits around the rearview mirror inside. I tried to put it back but found that a couple of tabs were broken. I told the sales person about it and told him that it would need a new piece. He took it and said he would take care of it but all he did was schedule a service appointment and gave them the broken piece. I wasted an hour sitting in the service Dept. waiting for them to tell me that they will have to order a new part. They fixed that but now the air conditioning does not work right. More

My 2013 Veloster has a complete Infotainment system. Its supposed to be warranted for 20 years, 200,000 miles. The MP3 player doesnt work and hasnt for years. We had a very positive experience at Port Charlotte Hyundai. We went to look because we were anxious to see if they were competitive with the prices we were getting quoted from 2 other dealerships. I’ll admit we were hesitant to drive from Venice but we were shocked at the prices. We ended up with a Santa Fe Calligraphy for less than we were getting quoted for the limited model. What we appreciated the most was there was NO squabbling over the price!!! Our sales man Alan was extremely professional and he drove to our home in Venice to get necessary paper work.
