I've shopped many new vehicles in my day and know the Toyota Invoice+Holdback #'s. I found 6 Dealers that had the new Model year (2021) car I was looking for 'In Stock', including Glen Toyota, which was the only one that didn't offer any Dealer discount aside the rebate that is already mine from Toyota. Each of the other Dealers I was working with quoted discounts of $1,000 to $1,650 NOT including the rebate. After reaching out to me on 4 different occasions, Glen Toyota Sales staff failed to offer any discount from MSRP each time. It was a disappointing shopping experience to include Glen Toyota as one of my choices to do business with. They obviously want to reap 100% of the markup on the too many naive Buyers out there, which is fine - I get it that's their way of doing business and obvious policy, but it's just not my policy to overpay either. I always look at it in the way that a Dealer that offers greater discounts as a sacrifice will make up for it on me on the Service end where the price isn't negotiable. The Dealer I made my purchase with this past week, not only offered the highest Dealer discount, but one of the best that I've purchased from before. Sorry to say to Sales persons and Owner at Glen Toyota, but you lost out on one of my favorable Google Local Guide Dealerrater reviews had I purchased from you at a competitive savings. To savvy shoppers, skip past Glen Toyota and get your quotes from the others at a substantial savings - you'll see what I'm talking about right away! More
