Now that I have the G90, I am even more pleased. I think the improvements in the G90 over the Equus are incredible. I am having fun driving the new Genesis G90. More
Shameless Scammers - Totally Avoid Them I thought this was going to be a super simple process. We went previously to test drive Kia and Hyundai with Sammy and he was knowledgeable and totall I thought this was going to be a super simple process. We went previously to test drive Kia and Hyundai with Sammy and he was knowledgeable and totally understood when we needed time to decide which one because my husband was torn between 2 different kinds of cars. I worked with Alexis over email to confirm pricing for a 3 year lease, got confirmation and made an appointment to pick out the car and sign the lease. Sammy kept telling me it would be so easy because I had already worked out cost with Alexis. However, first they had us driving the 2018 Santa Fe Sport when we had always agreed on the 2017 vehicle. Then when we finally got the vehicle we were looking for they tried to tell us it would need to be an additional $35 a month. They pulled out the email trail of our negotiations, and conveniently left out the last 5 emails with the final cost confirmation. Over and over again they kept us waiting at the desk using those tired sales tactics of trying to wait you out and pulling the bait and switch. Sammy's manager was the one who kept trying to tell me they didn't agree to something which I had in writing. If their online sales people cannot give firm pricing, they shouldn't be allowed to communicate with customers. I had other options and other offers from dealerships in my inbox, I don't reward bad salesmanship with a purchase. We walked out. We went to another dealership (Maxon) a couple days later got exactly what we wanted at the price agreed upon over the phone in advance. No muss no fuss. We left that dealership in less time with a car than it took for Global to give us the runaround and for us to leave absolutely fuming. I will never stop being surprised that Global preferred to lose a repeat customer (I had already purchased from them before) and go back on their word and lose an easy deal in an effort to squeeze more money out of me.
