Almost a Month to Get Car Back I initially took my car in for steering issues and a door handle recall. I ended up having my brakes fixed as well as a couple of other minor issues. I was told it would be a few days, which I expected. This car was my only method of transportation to work, etc. I ended up having to borrow a car from a family member. I didn't mind since it was "only going to be a few days ". A week and a half went by and I had heard nothing. I called in and was told it was still being worked on. They were waiting on parts. Another week went by and the same thing. They could not get the Ford steering pump because there were no cores to rebuild. Finally, after two and a half to almost 3 weeks they told me they were going to get an aftermarket part and it would be the same price. Everytime I wanted to know the status I had to call. No one reached out one time to help or update me. Finally, I had enough when I was almost about to get my car back and had an out of town trip to make the next day. I was unable to take the car I was borrowing out of town and needed transportation. I called in and found out they had ordered the wrong aftermarket part and it was delayed........AGAIN. I proceeded to tell my advisor this was unacceptable and I needed a courtesy/loaner vehicle. He told me they did not have anything and that basically I was out of luck because they were working on airbag recalls and there were people with brand new cars on a waiting list for a loaner. I ended up calling back and speaking to the manager who was able to get me a car for my trip. The following week my car was finally finished after 4 weeks. Not once did anyone call me on the status even when it was complete. This is unacceptable especially when I was forced to pay full price of almost $2500 for the repairs. I will never recommend or go back to this dealership. This seems to be a common problem now that I have done research and first hand heard of others with the same issues. More

Accomplished the Task The Green Ford service team worked with me to complete the required service. They located a used part that saved cost. They replaced two tires when I asked for only one. And the repair took a day longer than estimated. I would have appreciated proactive communications when the repairs were not completed in time, as opposed to my having to call and ask for an update. Also, at the end, I had to point out that the tire cap had not been put on the tire. More

Appointment time was 7:30am, doors were still locked at 7:33am. No loaner vehicle offered to SVT owners. Must be a new policy, I assume, but that was a convenience I liked when I paid the price for the vehicle. Those are the cons. I drove 82 miles, one-way, because of the deal he offered on the new truck and my trade. Kimberley was the bomb when it came to professionalism and listening to the customer. More
