2012 Edge Regular maintenance & backup camera replacement Recently had the backup camera stop working correctly. These cameras are know to quit working at around 89000 miles on average. At 92000 miles car was Recently had the backup camera stop working correctly. These cameras are know to quit working at around 89000 miles on average. At 92000 miles car was do for regular maintenance and also wanted software checked and updated along with camera repair/replacement. All went well and acceptable except for the camera. I was quoted and charged $522.71 for camera p/n BT4Z*19G490*B. For this job I was quoted $907.00 with tax and labor. Labor did turn out to be less than quoted. It takes less than an hour to replace the camera in videos done by amateurs and Ford techs I watched. I found this exact part on line from FORD dealers for $100 to $200 less. New in box! And the name plate was broken off to perform the replacement. Another $44.54 for this part which no one in the videos broke however they did say to be careful with it. All tolled my bill came to $1093.70. No discounts for regular customer, senior citizen or veteran. (they didn’t ask). And not even a courtesy car wash. Camera works as it should but we feel cost of part and labor to excessive. More

Was going to wait but found a great truck We went to browse and maybe test drive a truck. Sales person came out and took us for a drive and features demonstration. After we drove the truck we sat down to run some numbers. We took a pretty long time to work a deal that was too good to pass up. I left in a new truck. I won’t tell you it wasn’t stressful. But it was worth it and I would recommend Kerry at Green Ford to buy your next truck from. I had been to other dealers and didn’t get treated very well. Kerry made the sale where everyone else failed. Great job! More
