It still runs horribly. As an update, received my first status update a week after this complaint was listed...from non other than Jesse. Hello, I am reaching out because I have exhausted all of my options on a local level and I am needing to ring the alarm on my current situation with this specific dealership. On Friday, December 13th, I took my car to this Kia service center due to my seat belt light remaining illuminated. There have been at least two other engine instances with my vehicle's engine this year so the staff are pretty familiar with me. The 13th was a bit different as I was assigned to someone named Jessie who id never worked with before. Upon taking my service ticket to Jessie, he sat me down, began to ask about my vehicle, and another customer cut our transaction because he forgot about her, and she was in a rage. Jessie then passed me off to his colleague Louis (who was great by the way). Louis got me checked in, took my key and said Jessie would contact me tomorrow (which was December 14th) with an update. Well, considering that Kia service closed early on Saturday, I didn't expect an update until early the following week at best, so I was okay with the short delay. Over the next week and a half, I knew I would need my car or any car because I was celebrating my birthday late (I did not have a car, it was on 12/12) and it concerned me that I had not received an update or offer for a courtesy vehicle from anyone. I continued to call and ended up requesting Jessie, his boss, or anyone to provide me with an update. Jessie was never available, there was never a manager available, there was never a call back, a text back or anything. On Friday, December 27th, I gave a call to the dealership again and was provided with a number to text the service director due to the delay in getting an update. I text this number and requested an update, still nothing. I finished my work day and paid someone to drive me to Kia so that I can find out a status update. I entered the service advisor counters and saw that Jessie was with 2 individuals at his desk. He was speaking his native language with them (which was seriously okay with me at the time) and wrapping up service with them. When one of the women left, I called out to Jessie and asked if he had a moment. He confirmed that he did and asked me to have a seat. Jessie asked my name and said "oh I just got an update about your soul, I can't find it but let me look i will be right back." I called out to Jessie " I have a seltos". So Jessie comes back and says, just a moment and proceeds to speak in his native language with the previous customer as if I were not at the desk. In the interim, Jessie and the customer started side eyeing me and giggling. The body language alone prompted me to open my translation software and what do you know? Jessie and his customer were talking about people like me not having patience, people like me "not understanding" and going on and on. One, that is overly judgmental and racist and even if it were a personal conversation, it was being had in the lobby literally on top of my head. Now disgusted and feeling literally like poop, and losing money by the moment (due to me paying someone to wait for me), I interrupted Jessie's now 6 minute conversation with his customer/friend and said "Jessie, excuse me, I just need an update real quick. I am paying someone to wait and would like to keep some money in my pocket. I feel that if you were not ready to assist me, you could have simply asked me to wait so I could tell my ride". Jessie stood up and said "What? Just wait." I responded with, oh no, you will not disrespect me, where is your boss? The customer/friend said to me "no he is dealing with me and t More
