Great people, good deal, slow departure I purchased a 2016 Honda Odyssey with ~40K mileage in November 2019. Sales people were responsive and courteous. Service department was thorough as usual (I have other vehicles serviced at this dealership). But during a final inspection of the vehicle, it was not well cleaned and detailed as promised, and the lug nut key was missing. After resolving this issue, the vehicle failed to start, but a new battery was quickly installed. I just finished a 1000 mile round trip to Arkansas with no major problems from the car; I will need to replace a rear wiper and some internal components that appeared okay at the time of purchase, but were actually broken or worn out once we used them. Overall, I am pleased with the vehicle and the buying experience, which only required a little more than an hour to sign all the paperwork. More

Substantially more expensive than estimated I won't fault the repair job. I called in a panic, not knowing where else to go the day before Thanksgiving, and not only was the service department a I won't fault the repair job. I do want to commend them for their kindness and expertise. However, when the issue was explained to me, I was told the cost of the replacement part and labor, which was well within my budget.I understand it's an estimate, but I was told a very specific cost for the part, and I expected the cost of labor to probably go up a bit. Once it came in and was replaced, and it was not as though I could have it undone, the price of the part had greatly increased and my cost due immediately was nearly three times the estimate. I was fine with the cost of labor being more, but I was surprised that the cost of the part had increased so substantially, and without any discussion of the change. I felt like I had been told a lower estimate so I wouldn't take my car to a mechanic, and then once it was too late to go somewhere else, the price was tripled. If it had just been discussed with me prior to completing the work, so I could be an informed customer, this would be a much more positive review. I also fault myself for not knowing which questions to ask or getting anything in writing. I've bought my last two vehicles here, and I will probably buy the next one here, too. I think they have the best prices for vehicles within hundreds of miles (I had checked from Dallas to San Antonio and over to Houston), and they had the best prices and nice sales people. But I probably won't have my car serviced here unless I have no choice. More
