When looking for our second New Beetle, my wife went to the dealership nearest our home, which was Randy Rhorman's Gurnee VW. The purchase experience for us was pleasant and the car we purchased was the right price. As a Certified Pre-Owned, the car has been flawless. Their was no pressure to either of us and the overall experience was positive. Since then, I have been satisfied with entire staff at Gurnee VW and the cleanliness and personality at the store. I recently assisted in holding a VW show at the dealership which helped showcase the friendliness and overall willingness to go the extra mile of the entire team at Gurnee VW. I will be due for a 30000 mile service very soon and will most certainly be taking my car back there for service. I highly recommend them over all other VW dealers in the region. Great job Gurnee VW; you have earned a long-time customer. More
I have purchased 2 new vehicles from this dealership, a Beatle Convertable and a 2.0T Passat. My salesman, Nestor, worked with me for six months - without even a hint of pressure or misleading sales techniques - before the first purchase was consumated. To further aid in the first sale, Nestor and Mike (the service manager) decorated the Beatle convertable with red bows and ribbons for its presentation as a christmas present to my wife. The Passat was purchased five months later. Again, I was treated with the same friendship and respect that so impressed me the during the first sale. Not only was I consistantly recoginized and greated by name every time I returned by my salesman, but I was similarly greeted by everyone on the sales floor and the service managers. Both cars have been a pleasure to own and drive. The superb quality throughout both leave no doubt from where the term "German Engineering" stems. It is earned! The Beatle and the Passat were compared to every even remotely similar model, foreign and domestic. Dollar for dollar, none, even some significantly more expensive, are the equal for either of my Volkswagons. More
