An OK Experience I bought a lightly used 2016 Tundra 4x4. It took over 5 hours to complete the deal even though we knew exactly what we wanted. There were very long periods of 30 minutes or more where we were left waiting for either finance, the sales manager or some other thing. We had to come back for more waiting as the floor mats and one of the fobs was missing. They tried to hand me torn mats saying these came out of the truck. The truck had barely 8K on the clock and was "Certified" Why would you go cheap on mats? In the end, they took mats from another used truck and gave them to me. This was an OK experience. I've had better and I've had much much worse. Our salesman was helpful and cheerful and the finance guy didn't try and pressure us into buying extra junk. More

Easier than I expected. I needed a car because my 14 year old Camry was totaled last June. So, I did my research and got quotes from different dealers, and decided to go with I needed a car because my 14 year old Camry was totaled last June. So, I did my research and got quotes from different dealers, and decided to go with Hamer because it seemed so easy talking to their agent (Steven Robles) on the phone. Since we can only go on a Saturday, I already knew it will take longer than the two hours max I hoped for. When we got there, Steven showed me a couple of options we discussed, test drove one, picked another, weighed my options, and made a decision. We waited a bit for the 'final segment' (accounting), but I appreciated that I wasn't "forced" to agree to buy extra insurance stuff, like when we bought my Camry 14 years ago. Overall, it was a great experience. More
A humiliating experience- Never again !!! Test drove the car & got a print out of the price. Dealer obtained my preferred color the next day and sent a photo. Came in, was told method of payment, that was agreed on in writing was unacceptable - "regardless of what you were promised in writing, you pay our way or no deal " Salesman drove me to bank, when arrived he gets a call, bottom line price is $500.00 more than the amount on printout that was agreed upon and verified twice in writing before I returned to the dealership. "You pay the new price or no deal" Salesman drives me back to dealership empty handed. I was ready to walk away but wanted to speak to the owner first. Of course, he, is not available. Asked for the general Manger that writes these beautiful promissing, tempting letter he, of course, is unreachable, asked for the sales manager and was told to go to the office behind the glass door. When asked the receptionist what's his name, whom should I ask for, her answer: " anyone there, they are all Sales Managers " After showing the printout and reading out loud, to the entire forum of managers, the written communications, one nice mangers asked "are you done? " and when I said yes, he responded by saying "I'll take care of you, but don't threaten me with writing to the owner and social media, this doesn't phase me " I asked - are you going to sell me the car for the agreed upon price on the printout? Yes or No? And when he affirmed, I wrote it down on his business card, went back to the bank, got the money and drove away. One of the most humiliating experiences of my life, when all I wanted is to buy a brand new second car in a dignified, straightforward way from the dealer that sold me my first ever brand new Toyota 12 month earlier. More
