The service department is a joke. Jesse and Sean are rude and have absolutely no customer service skills. They are sarcastic, dismissive, and leave customers waiting all day with little to no updates. They will tell you the service will only take a couple of hours, but expect it to take much longer. This dealership only seems interested in being civil when they are trying to sell you a lemon. Once there is a problem, accountability disappears. They constantly use phrases like, "We can't find anything wrong," then backtrack and say, "We are not saying nothing is wrong; we just can't find it." That is not reassuring when customers are paying for diagnostic services. What is even more frustrating is that they have to call GM because their mechanics cannot figure out the diagnosis themselves and instead rely on GM to tell them what to do. Even after that, they still cannot confirm whether the repair will actually fix the issue. It feels like they avoid making a diagnosis so they do not have to take responsibility for a misdiagnosis. I asked Sean why I was being charged a $140 diagnostic fee if GM was the one telling them what to do. His response was, "Are you telling us how to do our job?" No, I am saying customers should not have to pay for a diagnosis that your service department could not make on its own. Both Sean and Jesse were snappy, rude, and argumentative, even with their own mechanics. They openly went back and forth with employees in front of customers, which was completely unprofessional from start to finish. Update in response to the dealership's comment: The response is honestly comical and only reinforces the concerns I originally raised. They claim they "strive to maintain a high standard of customer service," yet they never specifically mention who I should contact regarding my concerns only a vague "contact us," which means very little in a dealership with hundreds of employees. Over a week ago, I requested that Giovanni, the dealership manager, contact me directly. I personally spoke with multiple employees who said they would make him aware of the situation. So either none of those employees actually informed him, or he simply did not care enough to address my concerns. At this point, the dealership's response seems more focused on looking good publicly on Yelp than genuinely resolving customer issues. If there had been any real desire to address the situation, someone would have contacted me by now. Unfortunately, I'm back at the dealership again today, expecting to spend another full day waiting to see whether they can finally fix the issue with my car. Love that for me. More
